I stayed here with my family at short notice for an early hospital appointment the next day. The Alcorn was easy to find, the room was clean and spacious and all for a reasonable price. Lalitha was a fantastic host who cooked a fine breakfast for £5-good value and we had a lovely chat. She was very helpful with transport and even called us a taxi. Would be happy to stay here again.

One night very comfy stay in a spacious triple room for three adults with ensuite. Amazing value compared to other accommodation in the area whilst the Golf Open is on. Lalitha is a lovely host that takes pride in her guest house and takes care of her guests. She cooked us a very generous serving of full English breakfast which was delicious and only £5 a head and served it at 7am so that we could get an early start to golf. ||We spoke to other guests at breakfast who have been returning for years so this must be a testimony to Lalitha's hosting.||Thank you for looking after us.

Stopped at this guest house for the last four years, for the location is ideal for our annual charity golf event at ST. Michaels golf club 20 minutes away by car. Rooms are very good and clean. The hostess Lalitha is fantastic, bubblely, very welcoming and great to converse with. Breakfast extra for a small fee but not to be missed. definately return next year or when next in Dundee. It is not easy to find accommodation for a family 5 at a reasonable price, and we were so glad to have found Alcorn Guest House. ||||The Alcorn is a charming house that is easy to find in Dundee and walking distance to the sea wall, parks, shops and restaurants. We had the family room that consists of 5 single beds in 3 adjoining rooms. Our host offered us suggestions to walk around Dundee and find supper. She served us a delicious hot breakfast with generous portions in the morning.

Nice B&B, in an old nice house located near the town center. Rooms are not really modern, but overall they are comfortable. The big plus is the friendly host. She will look after you and with a small price difference, she will setup a really nice breakfast in the morning.

Beautiful guest house. You can pluck some blackberries from the owner's permission to have it. It is nicely decorated with Indian culture decoration pieces and a nice smell of sandalwood althroughout.

Stayed here yet again this week for a couple of days with who is now a dear friend Lalitha the landlady. Great location for easy access to the town centre and in a quiet location in the west end of town. Feels like a home from home now for me. I hope to return soon on my next visit to Dundee.
