A super stay at Alford House and lovely warm welcome from our host, Susie, who was so helpful. A lovely, comfortable room and delicious breakfast. My husband and I stayed for three nights whilst we finished off the final miles of the South West Coast Path. Susie and her husband John collected us from a couple of remote spots at the end of our days and dropped us back again in the morning - such a helpful service and it meant we didn't have to carry our rucksacks either. It was lovely to return back to our comfy room in the evening before going out for a meal with several places to choose from. Would highly recommend. Thank you, Sue & Gary.

Can highly recommend Alford House. We were welcomed by Susie with tea and biscuits and she shared her knowledge of the SW Coastal path with us, updating us about recent detours and rare orchids. Comfortable beds, hot showers and delicious breakfasts. Excellent place, lovely people.

We stayed on route to a wedding in Swanage. Getting there was easy by public transport (frequent bus from Wareham). Lovely to be welcomed with tea and biscuits. The room at the back is very pleasant and beautiful quiet but mind your head if you are tall! Delicious breakfast and the optional pack lunch was handy for the train journey home. Corte Castle is a very pretty village and we went into Swanage on the steam train which was fun.

Welcomed with a tray of tea and biscuits before being shown to our room. We had the room at the back of the house overlooking the very pretty garden. All very clean and fresh with white linen on the bed which tended to be very comfortable. Lovely breakfast the next morning served in the downstairs dining room which had groaning bookshelves full of books of every type, local maps and general info. The house itself is old and the B+B accommodation is in a separate wing of it's own complete with own front door which I thought a great idea as gave the sense of being independent. There was also off street private parking, a blessing in busy Corfe! We have a wonderful time in lovely Corfe and recommend a stay with Suzie and husband.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely amazing bank holiday weekend there recently! The room was clean and the breakfasts were at whatever time suited you, and to a great standard.

It is a central location to all the Jurassic coast attractions, and Corfe Castle is a must! The town is wonderfully picturesque and Alford is centrally places to allow you to enjoy everything.

Susie was an brilliant hostess, and If you’re lucky you will get to see and meet the adorable grovel-hound that is Mango.

Would definitely consider returning.

We stayed here for three nights whilst walking the coast path. Very pretty bedroom with comfy bed, dressing table with a nice mirror and a small table with coffee, tea, sachets of hot chocolate, a mug and a kettle. Breakfast was prepared when you came down - amazing Full English or cereals, yoghurts, toast, etc. Susie, the owner of the Bed and Breakfast, was exceptionally welcoming, helpful and friendly, giving us lots of advice about our walks and places to go. Overall, this is a a nice place to stay and relax whilst exploring the lovely town of Corfe Castle.
