Deana was very friendly and accommodating. We had a limited budget and the volume of food provided for a reasonably low price was very good.
Unfortunately, there was very little love given to the way the food was cooked. Pork and salmon were very dry and overcooked and our “barbecued sausages”, although cooked through did not look like they had seen any kind of grill. They were very anaemic looking. That being said, the amount of it and the general taste was fine and it filled up our wedding guests.
The team were friendly enough but were late with our barbecue food. This wouldn’t have been a huge problem, except they didn’t say anything before we had got everyone seated, and brought round salad and pasta salad about 30 minutes before anything else which people weren’t sure what to do with. I had some guests say they weren’t sure if it was a starter, others saying they were so hungry that they ate all the pasta salad before the meat arrived. That was disappointing.
We talked at length about vegetarian and vegan options prior to our wedding, however on the day it was boring veggie/vegan sausages that came out for those guests which lacked imagination and effort and reflected badly on us as the hosts.
All in all, the food was fine. It was all cooked and edible and at a low price. I would recommend them for a party, or gathering of friends. But to us it lacked any kind of TLC in its preparation and cooking and therefore we would not recommend to our friends for a wedding.
