Very disappointed stayed for 5 nights
Only see staff on check in and briefly on 2 mornings. No bar or restaurant as advertised although there was a kitchen area which could be used but was not very clean due to how others left it. Was very noisy from other rooms (arguing,shouting,banging) did not see any staff cleaning! Room was dusty, toilet seat very loose and not right size for the toilet, toilet roll holder and towel holder falling of the wall, shower was good but the bath had black bits coming out of what looked like jet holes, no beakers for rinsing after teethbrushing, Mattress hard, pillows very flat/old, stains on headboard, cracks on the walls. Definitely overpriced

£90 one night no breakfast no bar not worth the money. Room full of spiders dusty torn net curtains. Takes ages for shower to get hot. Won't be returning. Notice on wall outside the hotel states breakfast included. Also states a bar is open on a night and a stair lift and jacuzzi. All lies

Rooms were great , clean, large room. Just didn't see any staff from checking in, even when I left I just had to put my key in a bowl. Very Noisy with people above banging around til 5am and zero parking availability

Really close to the beach, which was nice and the basis of it’s appeal. However, the room could have been cleaner; small things needing more detailed cleaning had been neglected for some time. Mattress was rock hard, pillows were meager and thin and the carpet looked really old.
I also urge caution if you are wanting to relax here, because you won’t get any sleep. Walls have little insulation so you can hear everything. The first night of our stay we could hear normal movings-around of other guests which wouldn’t have been an issue but caused all dogs in the building to bark. The second night, for some reason another guest decided to slam the main door shut four or five times with a SLAM each time and then ran up and down the stairs at 3 am. I know this hotel is cheaper and dog friendly compared to others in the area but unfortunately comfort comes at a steep price these days.

Lovely little hotel, nice staff and comfy and clean beds!

Nice and quiet, perfect for a solo trip with good transport links into Gorlestone High Street, Great Yarmouth and Norwich.

Great location, just a stones throw to the beach, and good amenities (Yorkshire tea!!!)

My only tiny thought is that the shower is a little stained, nothing that a little bleach could save!

Welcomed by very rude owner. No bar, no food as advertised which was our reason for choosing it. Toilet could only be flushed in ground floor room, by removing the cistern lid and praying it would flush. After numerous attempts, finally it flushed. Didn't report to aggressive owner for fear of being bullied into paying for something we didn't do. The handle on our sons room fell off 1st time he opened door of his room. We paid the 3 nights for 3 rooms upfront so stuck it out as we knew a refund request would be welcomed with rudeness and aggression. I don't know how this place can charge people for staying there. The worst experience during our 22 years of travel visiting many countries.

We booked this hotel because everything else was either fully booked or ridiculously priced. We paid £170 for two nights, which compared to previous years in different B&B's seems pretty steep, but with the current situation and it being the school holidays, I expected the price to be slightly higher. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely man, who told us where local tyre garages were. The no on site parking is a slight issue. It's a nightmare finding a space and when we arrived, we hit a rain storm cover, as it juts out from the curb and into the road. The man on reception was more than helpful and extremely polite and friendly. The only other thing, is due to covid, there's currently no breakfast, but with the marina Bay cafe in the seafront, we weren't worried about breakfast. The room was clean, smelt fresh and the bed was sooo comfortable. On our first morning, a lady knocked on the door and asked if we needed any extra towels, toilet rolls or our bin emptying, which usually doesn't seem to happen in a lot of places I've stayed in before. Will defintely be staying here again when visiting family.

The staff were friendly, nice clean bedding and towels, bed comfortable, we stayed in room by the front door, ideal for the dog to go out quickly, BUT it was noisy when people come in, could do with carpet runner in hall, as lovely floor boards through to reception. The room could do with good deep clean, as dust under bed in corners, cobwebs on light fixtures. The kettle needs clean, toilet didn’t flush well, shower head wouldn’t stay in place, shower screen rubber at the bottom WELL! Toilet seat needs replacing wouldn’t stay up, & fixings on it not secure, crack in toilet, tiles bathroom furniture and floor need a good scrub, sorry but could be lovely gorgeous ceiling rose, and room character, felt because have a dog, not to worry, about clean but really wrong totally opposite, have to be honest I was going to come home but hubby said no, would stay again,
