We got married in May 2024. From the very beginning of our enquiries, Leo and his contacts were just amazing! Any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly and we felt like Leo went above and beyond to make our day special. We visited a few times in the lead up to our wedding and were so impressed with how much effort is consistently put in by everyone to keep the Manor updated and looking beautiful.
On the day itself, Leo, his wife Amy (who did my makeup beautifully) as well as their team gave their all to make our day exactly how we wished. We were blown away by their attention to detail and genuine kindness. So many of our guests commented on how fantastic Leo made the day and we couldn’t agree more. We cannot thank everyone enough for how special our day was, it was everything and more. It’s the perfect wedding venue!

What a fantastic place to stay!|This is a truly stunning Manor House. Our trip was in memory of my husband’s mother who passed away a few months ago and she had lived in Allington for a number of years. We had visited the village many times and our children spent many summers there.|The host Leo was welcoming and friendly, he carried our bags up to the Butlers Room, which is in the Eaves of the manor. The room is stunning, perfectly decorated and welcoming. A beautiful en-suite bathroom. The stairs are a bit tricky but not a problem for us. Breakfast was really good, nothing was too much trouble and the coffee was fantastic!|I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely back! Thank you.

My sister had her wedding here on October 17th. The place is exceptional, the garden is breathtaking. The rooms are beautifully maintained and very clean. The bed and bedding were so comfortable that I ordered the same yesterday. I haven't slept so well in years!!! The service is 6 stars The lady who led the wedding and the ladies helping in the kitchen were great, very helpful, my little boy didn't feel too well on the wedding day and thanks to the paracetamol that the lady offered me, my boy danced until midnight. I am very grateful for your help and wonderful service. The wedding was exceptional.

We enjoyed a very comfortable one night stay at Allington Manor to break up a long journey. It's the most beautiful Jacobean Manor house and the garden is gorgeous. We stayed in the Lady's Room at the front of the house which was absolutely stunning, complete with a four-poster bed, roll top bath and huge fireplace. I enjoyed reading about the history of the house in the book in the room. |Breakfast was delicious and hosts were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay at Allington Manor if travelling through the area again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We arrived late on a Tuesday evening after a 3.5 hour trip “up North”. |On arrival, even though it was dark, we were both blown away by the stunning beauty of this Manor House. |We were met in the hall by our host, and it felt so relaxed, yet so professional at the same time, it was faultless. |We were upgraded to a larger room than we had originally booked, and were able to have the heating put on for us, as there was a chill in the air when we arrived. |The room quickly warmed up, and was cozy, homely and so very, very comfortable. I am dying to know which brand pillows you use, as they are up there with some of the best we’ve ever had the pleasure of resting our heads on, and we’d like to get some at home!! |We had a fantastic nights sleep, and the beauty of the place was elevated come day break, when you can really take in the views, the history of the house (the booklet was a very interesting read!), and soak in the charm. |Breakfast was superb, again, a very relaxed affair which suits us down to the ground; attentive hosts, strong delicious coffee, and a great vibe all round. I’m sad it wasn’t warmer so we could have sat outside, as the gardens look spectacular. |If we hadn’t have already booked our wedding venue, I would seriously give Allington Manor a consideration, and I highly recommend it for a relaxing night away, or as a venue for events. Easy trip to the Arena and motorway.

15 Minutes away from Grantham town centre for food and shopping.

It’s a lovely property and is maintained well. It is obvious that it has a lot of history.
The caretakers are lovely people.

It is quiet and quite magical.

The breakfast was so lovely.

I only stayed one night but it was all good experience.

I stayed at Allington on my way north as a little treat for a stop off on my work travels. The house is a wonderful period manor, conveniently close to main roads and Grantham, but also tucked away and quaint and quiet and peaceful, with a lovely ambience. The bedroom was gorgeous - stunning rolltop bath with piping hot available water which was just divine, the room was impeccably clean and the owners could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and I made some additional requests for help as I arrived very late, and in the morning was quite busy with some work calls, and they were kind, accommodating, and generous with their time and assistance. Highly recommend this lovely, welcoming place.

What can we say,the most stunning venue for our wedding. So many pluses to say,the owner Leo is so obliging and enthusiastic. Nothing is too much trouble, he clearly works tirelessly to make this an outstanding venue and it's really not overpriced at all. You have exclusive use for your day but can book rooms too (6) so we're were able to accommodate our family too. Breakfast was great as well. Cannot speak highly enough of Leo or the venue. Thank you so much for making our special day the best!
