Lovely hotel, clean and tidy rooms that are nice and bright and airy. Very comfortable bed and quiet at night. En suite was very clean and toiletries supplied. Good selection of tea and coffee and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was lovely, fantastic cooked breakfast. Owners are very nice, friendly and welcoming. ||Great value and will defiantly return if coming back to Perth.

We had a warm welcome from owners, Richard and Joan. Stayed one night in a very comfortable and cosy room which was spotless, had comfortable beds with tasteful bed linen, soft towels and an electric kettle and tv. Lovely shower room en suite. Excellent cooked breakfast. Owners very helpful with information on nearby restaurants. Reasonable price for quality of facilities. Parking out front of house but on a busy road.

Living out of town I either pay over the odds for a taxi home or pay the same amount for a guest house. Reserved through booking.com I got a great price on a double ensuite room. Room was spotless, clean fresh bedding, bed extremely comfortable, immaculate clean bathroom and lots of little extras, toiletries, tea, biscuits etc. The owners were very friendly and made me feel so welcome and after a great night sleep I enjoyed a very good full cooked breakfast. I will be back next time I’m out in Perth for sure, would recommend this guest house

We were taking some stuff up to our eldest grandaughter in Perth as she has just started at Uni there, and wanted a place near where she is stopping for a few days. The A.V. was 3 doors away so was ideal. We were met on arrival by our friendly hosts and made to feel very welcome. Initial impressions were of a very clean and cosy place, and this was continued on being shown our room. The room was spotless and the bed comfy. There was plenty of storage space and had a telly, hairdryer and a good range of teas and coffee that was replenished daily. Our room ( 1 ) had it's own seperate shower / toilet room, which was spacious and again spotless. It was complete with soaps, and shampoos etc and each of us had set of proper, large fluffy towels. Breakfast saw a choice of cereals, fruit, breads / toast and the cooked breakfast is brilliant and will set you up for the day The Alma is close to the riverside park, and a nice way into town - takes 20 to 25 mins. to Perth.s interesting and compact centre. A similar distance down the road. It's close to retail parks, supermarkets and a couple of museums. It's location is also good for picking up the roads to the great countryside around Perth. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, and they have a wealth of knowledge about Perth and the surrounding areas. We tried very hard to find something wrong, totally impossible. We could nitpick in that the nearest pub was about 20 mins away !! Not this establishments fault.This place is excellent and we highly recommend it.

Very clean rooms with modern (and comfortable) furniture/beds. Beautiful linen and furnishings. Good wifi.
Close to city centre and a very friendly welcome.
The hosts are true professionals and are very knowledgeable about Perth and the surrounding areas for those that are sight seeing.
A very relaxing stay- thank you to you both. We will recommend!

Stayed on a business overnight this week. Easy to find, good location & free off street parking. Very friendly hosts & informative check in. Good sized well appointed double room with private separate shower room next door (not an issue). Comfortable bed and good shower, plenty of toiletries supplied if you need them. Nicely cooked breakfast with excellent coffee. Highly recommend, very comfortable & great value!

I have been to Perth a few times for the Southern Fried Festival. I normally stay at a well known hotel in Perth. I was too late booking this year. Then by sheer luck. I found Alma Villa Guest House. The hosts Richard and Joan are lovely people and made me feel so welcome. It is they who made my stay so wonderful. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. It really was a home from home experience. I honestly can't think of one single negative. The reason being there was none. I would strongly recommend Alma Villa Guest House to my family and close friends. As I said above I normally stay at a famous Perth hotel. From now on, I will check Alma Villa Guest House before going anywhere else in Perth.

I stayed here couple of times and would strongly recommend anyone.||This is the BEST in town and it can compete with any five star hotel. Sparkling cleanliness, comfy bed, pin drop silence, delicious breakfast, fresh fruits. The owners are very welcoming and had always given me a good home feeling. Many Thanks to Richard & Joan!
