Lovely home from home, Amanda and Trudy always make you feel welcome and fully accommodated. |Breakfast is always extremely well made suited to your individual tastes and there is tea and coffee alongside a tv within your room.|Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Northampton definitely the best.

Stayed for our anniversary and we’re made very welcome by both Mandy and Trudy. Lovely and dog friendly. Wonderful breakfast. Super comfy! Highly recommend if you want a relaxing break away from home. Get the feeling that nothing is too much trouble, you only have to ask.

Amanda is an amazing host, rooms are extremely clean and very well equipped, breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. It's definetely been our best experience in B&B! We felt welcome and spoilt!

Stayed here last year with our dog and it was a very welcoming lovely place with a great breakfast. Left the dog in Germany this year and came back again, and had a lovely stay. Great location for dance venues and exhibitions.

What a lovely find for a night stop to meet up with friends. Just loved the whole character of the building. Amanda who owns it is simply lovely and her dog Trudi is adorable.|Parking available on the property. Breakfasts totally delicious.|We had the garden room ... So much space and so very comfortable. I sat out in the garden, lovely and relaxing. Would totally recommend.

Stayed for five nights - went for cricket match. Close to the ground and also close to Abingdon Park and many local restaurants. Amanda our hostess was wonderful. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great. Room spacious and comfortable. Will certainly go back if we need to stay in Northampton again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Ambles. Amanda is a wonderful host. |The bedroon was beautiful and the bed was really comfy. The English breakfast was delicious and I particularly liked the cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. Yum!|There's a beautiful park just across the road where you can really stretch your legs.|I'd highly recommend The Ambles if you're going to Northampton and if I go there again, I will certainly stay here.|Thank you Amanda.

I booked at short notice and was given an excellent room which greatly exceeded my expectations for the price. The proprietor, Amanda, was an excellent host, and ensured everything was in order. I had to endure a very difficult trip and an equally ardous visit to Northampton, but I was very fortunate to have found this place. I would, without hesitation, recommend this hotel.
