We had a great stay at An Mor Hotel in Bude. The hotel itself is very basic, but what made it special was the excellent staff—they were so welcoming from check-in onwards. A special shout-out to Sian, who we had some really interesting chats with; she went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. ||Though breakfast isn’t offered here, the team gave us some fantastic local recommendations. We also loved the live singer—the rain meant he moved inside, which actually made it even cosier and more intimate! ||A simple but lovely place with outstanding service. Great all round and we’d happily stay again!

A lovely basic hotel and somewhere I would recommend just for a night stay. However, I would not recommend a stay for families as rooms do not suit- |We had to plug the kettle in on the bed side cabinet as where they have put the tea/coffee area was no plug sockets near, windows on top floor open wide- no restrictions especially in the bathroom so with a little one it was hard as it was so warm. |We had to move the bed to fit our cot in too. |Hotel it’s self was clean and tidy however the only points I would say was the bin in the bathroom had rusted, the shower head needs a clean as the outlets are clogged and so is the plugs, the rooms could do with updating as they look old- our window was full of salt from the sea so was hard to see out of. |When it was windy, the bathroom door would bang so needed to stay open at night. |The staff in the hotel were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us and also recommended some fab places to eat! |||Would stay in Bude again, but not here unfortunately.

Absolutely appalled! Booked for one night via Trivago which clearly stated it included breakfast. The day after booking I receive a confirmation email which contains various info including that there is no on site restaurant. I telephone the hotel who confirm this is the case and insist it doesn't detail inclusive breakfasts on websites. No apology, refused reduction in price, no offer of escalation and said nothing they could do. In the end I achieve the management email address to whom I send an email with photos evidencing the inclusive breakfast, detailing the false advertising and ask for a resolution. I receive no response but an automated email saying my reservation was cancelled. I telephone the hotel to be told the Trivago booking was from when the hotel was in different hands (which was 5 years ago) and so they cancelled my booking (without checking with me). I then receive an email from tej manager suggesting I don't use Trivago and use a more reputable site and blame Trivago for advertising their business. Manager said receptionist is highly trained, did very well and said they shouldn't need to apologise for anything as it's not their fault. Appears receptionist had even told Manager I had requested the cancellation when I had made it clear I didn't want it cancelled. Manager even accused me of improper behaviour because I said I would put this review on and suggest to my relatives and friends they do not stay there. No accountability taken whatsoever. Shocking customer service. Would never recommend!

Staff friendly enough, room clean and tidy.
No breakfast facilities or restaurant for evening meal. The bar only sells bottles and at £6.00 a time was a bit much.
Also only takes card payments for the drink.

Stayed here for our mini honeymoon. Booked for 2 nights but loved the place so booked for an extra night. Amazing staff, and nice and relaxed

Well if you were to read past reviews I think you’d be apprehensive to stay. BUT you shouldn’t be apprehensive as it’s a great place!!
Stayed one night with a great receptive welcome on arrival and at breakfast. The hotel is clean, my room freshly decorated and a great shower with wonderful wake you up pressure. I loved the old maid service indicator on the bedroom door.
Breakfast was a true delight with hot and cold buffet and great produce!!
Location wise it couldn’t be better for a cliff walk or a quick 2 minute walk into the town.
So nothing not to like at this hotel. It’s a little gem.

I booked a nice local hotel, thinking it would be better than the Premier Inn round the corner. I booked a Superior room as my husband and I don't get a lot of leisure time together. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the beach bar next door is lovely. It's a short walk to the beach, with lots of nice bars and restaurants. Don't get caught out though, we arrived at 8:30 on Friday evening and everything closes at 9:00. Also take cash as some places don't take card.|Back to the hotel, it is very tired. The restaurant has had several leaks through the ceiling and one place had towels on the floor to mop it up.|Our room was certainly not superior. It was very small and the floor creaked with every step. The bed was really uncomfortable. The curtains were hanging off the rail. TheTV was half hidden behind the wardrobe and the bathroom was tiny. My husband is a big guy and wasn't able to sit on the toilet as it was situated between the bath and the wall. It meant him going downstairs to the disabled toilet. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was tasty, but I wish I'd gone to the Premier Inn.

Comfortable and clean rooms and we had an end room with great views of the river and the bay. Handy little fridge. Easy free parking. Little issues like no handle on one window and the bathroom window stuck. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, would stay here again.
