From the moment we arrived, we were met by Sandra the receptionist with a great smile. The room was extremely clean and had an awesome view of the seafront. Sarah, the lady who served us breakfast each morning was so friendly. The food was always freshly cooked and hot. And, plenty of it.|Highly recommend this little gem on the seafront amongst the giants of hotels. All the staff were so attentive and nothing was too much. Definitely will come back.

What a lovely place. We had a sea view room and it was great to wake up with the sound of surf rolling! The Anacapri is really well decorated with lots of local info - you can get some good discounts at local restaurants which are listed in the hotel but they also have a list of recommended restaurants that don't give a discount which kind of conveys their support of all businesses in the area, But, as anywhere, it's the people that make the experience and at the Anacapri they are the nicest and friendliest staff you are likely to meet anywhere!!

Stayed here for a night with my wife. Very quiet and peaceful place just a few minutes walk from the train station and literally a minute from the beach and a Co-Op shop. Room was really clean with an amazing view of Gyllyngvase beach. Had a full English for breakfast, wife had fish which I've never seen as an option in a bed and breakfast before. There were also discounts at local restaurants available but we didn't use them, but nice to have the option.

Stayed here in October with family for local Uni visit. Price is competitive for the area & reviews seemed good so came with high expectations. ||Overall I’d say is a nice enough hotel, clean, fairly friendly staff, well located, plenty of parking, etc. just a couple of areas I’d like to feedback for their consideration:||1. We were in a high floor room… during our stay the weather was not good & the wind coming from the sea made a lot of noise in our room window which I do t think was sealed as tight as it could be. It meant we didn’t sleep very well during our stay. ||2. Breakfast. Upon arrival after a very long drive, at check in we were asked there & then to decide what time we wanted breakfast for each day of our stay. On top of that we were given a form to complete selecting what food we wanted for each day of our stay… now I travel alot on business & TBH after a long journey you don’t really want to be hit with these things, especially thinking 1 or 2 days ahead! I did ask if we could advise them later if our choices but was told we had to do it there & then which was a pain as by the 2nd day I didn’t dance the food is pre chosen - I tried to tell the lady on duty during that breakfast session but she was so rushed she wasn’t really engaged with the customers - just keen to serve, clear tables, serve…||So all round okay but a couple of issues experienced during our stay leads to a lower review score which I hope is fair !

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous part of Cornwall with fabulous sea views. Generous breakfast made to order and suoer comfortable rooms. Just a two minute walk to the beach. Brilliant staff with a warm and friendly welcome. I only wish it was dog friendly. 🐕

Stayed here one night. Apart from it being a little old fashioned it is really excellent and you want for nothing. Superbly organised and an in-house bar open until 11pm. The standard of the breakfast is fantastic and that together with the view from the ‘picture’ window makes this a great place to stay! Only a 2 minute walk to the beach! We will be back.
