I didn't eat this time but have in the past and the food was nice. This time I stayed overnight in one of their bungalows as decided I was too tired to continue driving. The bungalow was very nice. Downstairs was lounge. Kitchen/diner with bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Everything was spotlessly clean. Only negative was nowhere to put clothes in bedroom or bathroom toiletries. I definitely recommend this place

Had a sausage and bacon bap and a piece of lemon meringue pie

Sausage and bacon bap

Very tasty good quality produce used

Lemon meringue pie

Very disappointed lacked flavour and bland, I remember lemon meringue pie having a strong lemon taste to give it a kick but this so lacked that .

Some food is great other food not as good giving it and average score of 3/5

Also to say the prices seem very weird as its an extra £2 to add another egg (see last pic)

Always stop here on my way through to Norfolk, never stayed in their accommodation, but they do also have a campsite to the rear for overnight stops. The café is huge and the food is tasty and plentiful.
Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Drove past this place near on 100 times, but finally decided to stop. This gives off a classic old school truckstop cafe. A large section inside tributes to fallen servicemen which is a wonderful tough. Back to the menu....there is SO much choice whether you are there for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and the portion sizes are very generous. Lovely tasty food at a very reasonable price. Visited three times now and service has always been spot on!
Today's visit was on our way home from a long weekend away and didn't fancy the fast food outlets. Was really pleased to discover they are open till late on a week day!!

Perfect omelette this time, delicious - looking forward to our next visit already ☺️

Food was absolutely fine, but basic fayre. Property needs a fresh lick of paint and the ceiling in the dining hall was particularly grubby. However, all in all a nice dinner.

We stopped at this location with our caravan to walk our dogs and get some rest ourselves along route, I asked my husband if he would like some refreshments so I went into the cafe. I needed to use the restroom so I headed to the area of the toilets, there were big blue lit key code pads on the doors.
I headed back into the cafe and looked for assistance and that I need to use the bathroom and then buy something refreshments (I had my purse in my hand) only to be told that I must buy something to get the code so I asked did she expect me to purchase any food goods and then bring them to the toilet with me? She said that’s just the way it is, so I asked can I buy the items and leave it in the counter to which she then responded with the code and a sarcastic “go on then”.
I never felt so humiliated.
I did purchase what we needed and no more but to that staff member, look around you, it’s not the Ritz, it’s a run down truck stop in the middle of nowhere. We won’t be back!

Went to 40s Tanks and military weekend event. On the first day advertised Friday of August bank holiday. When we got there they had got the Tanks out on display other then a few fair stall there was nothing else going on. In future they could do with advertising what's on each day and times. We continued on to other places near by and got home at 6pm and then someone said on Facebook that there would be entertainment on at 8pm that night. In all we were very disappointed with our visit which lasted about half an hour.
