I never leave negative reviews online but unfortunately this had to be done for the sake of future travellers. Firstly the positives, the view is wonderful and the lower campsite next to the loch looks nice, however we were unfortunately put in the upper campsite. First impression, we appear to be in a train graveyard/dumping ground! There are about 5 pitches that have hook ups and gravel down, the rest of the area is like a building site, at first we thought it must be a work in progress however looking at other reviews the "work in progress" appears to have been going on for some years! The amenities are absolutely horrific, the chemical waste unit was full, there was only about an inch or two at the top, this obviously hasn't been emptied for a very long time. The dog waste bin was 3/4 full so again not been emptied for ages. The washroom facilities consist of a wooden shack with a leaking shower and a toilet and the second door is for another toilet on its own. There was no toilet paper or paper towels/hand driers, horrifically all that was available to dry your hands on were two filthy dirty communal hand towels. I did phone reception and a lady very begrudgingly appeared but didn't come over to speak to us, after she had left I saw that she had left some paper towels and two toilet rolls to be shared between the 11 or so of us with the misfortune to be camping in this horrible place. Please note that the 1 shower and two toilets are to be shared by everyone on the site, male and females and there is no lighting on the site so if you need to go at night be aware you will be in darkness, alone and the facilities are away from the pitches so if you happen across a "wrong un" you may be in trouble! I certainly wouldn't let my teenage daughter use them and also note the ceiling is so low that if you are over 6 ft you might not be able to stand straight. The ground around the site is very uneven with holes and pipes so very dangerous and there are no washing up areas. It is disgraceful that the owners are allowing this area to be used (please note that they charge you the same as the pitches on the lower loch side site and they don't tell you the state of the area or total lack of hygiene and facilities)||||Shame on the greedy owners for allowing hard working paying customers to be subjected to this on their well earned holiday!

Amazing place with superb view of Lock, the resort offers multiple trekking option. It’s clean and secured and best part is the host is humble and polite. Only small thing is the washing machine is out of the cottage and coin operated.

We stayed on the creagen Station Tourers part of the holiday homes on a loch side pitch for the weekend. It's a small site, the pitches are large enough for a van, awning and a car if needed, nice and flat and has stunning views over the loch. There were 2 toilets and showers, basic but what else do you need when camping. And it's a 5 minute walk along the cycle path to the Creagan Inn for dinner and drinks (the path's not lit so take a torch for night time). ||The site owners were amazing, I picked up a nail and ended up with a flat tyre, Jim was so helpfull and told us not to worry about timings for leaving in the morning, which really took the pressure off while we waited for the mobile tyre fitter. ||I will 100% be back here, it's a great base for exploring

We stayed in the Loch Fynne Bothie for 3 nights. It has been decorated and designed with so much thought making it feel really cosy. The views from the bothie are amazing as you get to see right over the loch in front. Jim and Julie (owners) are so kind and friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed. It is also a perfect location for travelling into Fort William to climb Ben Nevis as it’s only a 45 min drive. We will definitely be back.

I have been visiting this site for the past 6 years and absolutely love it , I love how the pitches aren't to close together that you have privacy, the amenities are well kept very clean and tidy. The staff and owners are very friendly and would do anything to help you . I bring my grandson with me sometime and love the freedom he has to go and play and I dont have to worry and he loves it more than I can explain.|All in all I would highly recommend |

Stayed in a cottage with my girlfriends in summer 2023. I'm sitting in my own back deck thinking about how I wish I could be on the front porch there again, looking at the loch. Lovely place, I'd retire there if I could.

Stayed in the Porters rest shepherd's hut for 2 nights. Superb communication from the owners and lots of fabulous little details. We loved the outdoor bath! Really quiet and well kept site which looks like it will get even better in the coming years with other features being developed.|Easy access to swim in the loch from the lower camping pitches.

This is our third visit here, we have always opted for a log cabin.||The cabin is very comfortable, clean, tidy and well equipped, there is a fabulous view of Loch Greagan.||The hosts are unobtrusive and let you get on with your holiday, they are available if needed but everything for us was fine. Having said that we did get communication by texts welcoming us and wishing us a safe journey. This approach helped us feel very relaxed.||We have spoken directly to the hosts on previous visits and they have been friendly, professional and incredibly helpful.||The only downside is a bit of traffic noise from the road outside which is at odds with the tranquil view but you quickly get use to it.||The location is excellent for exploring, Glencoe is not far away as well as Oban.||It is nice to see the cabins are constantly improving, the one we had now has Wifi, Smart TV etc.|||We had a fabulous 5 nights there and will be returning next year.
