Recent new ownership of the guesthouse. Very attentive and met our every need. They were present in the building and always there if needed but not always nearby, or cleaning outside room first thing in the morning, which made it nice and quiet. In the kitchen area it felt like home helping ourselves to the breakfast items provided, we were in a big group so that setup was ideal for us. Rooms were clean and cosy, you could tell they had all been recently decorated. In a great area, for us, we had to be Near East Leake and this was perfect. Only things that could be improved is putting liquid hand soap and toilet brushes in the bathrooms. We will be back and thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely stay at the Guesthouse. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Very convenient for a local wedding venue and Trish was very flexible with check in times. Great value for money. Although our rooms were on the main road there was very little traffic noise.

What a lovely place to stay. Trish the host is very accommodating and provided us with taxi numbers and information on the area. There is a great pub around the corner called The White Lion - they do a quiz on a Wednesday night. ||Comfortable, quiet room with tea and coffee facilities. Would love to return when back in the area. ||Although there is no breakfast at the moment there is a fantastic coffee shop in East Leake called Bryer’s which was recommended. ||Thanks for a great stay!

An excellent location near a local wedding venue at Prestwold hall. An attentive owner if slightly sarcastic upon arrival. This bed and breakfast does not offer breakfast. No local breakfast within walking distance in the area. Biscuits provided in the room were 4 months out of date.
Clean and tidy b&b, with comfortable beds, unfortunately very loud rattling doors which require felt dampeners, and creeky floorboards. I was awoken each morning of my stay early, to the hallway outside of my room being hoovered by the host. Small car park, and was asked to move my car, and park at a local pub instead during my stay. I did not.

My car broke down just outside this guesthouse and I knocked at the door to be greeted by the wonderful Trish and explained my situation. Trish welcomed my children and I in and got us sorted by letting us use her wifi, facilities and landline to organise ourselves.
Can't thank Trish enough for her kindness and hospitiality. I have no doubt that if you opt to stay here you'll be very well looked after.

Lovely clean rooms with all you need for an overnight stay. A warm welcome. No breakfast included but this is reflected in the price. A continental breakfast would have been perfect. Good parking.

Trish was brilliant. Made our stay easy which is what we needed with two little kids!

It's on a main road but with off road parking it really didn't matter and put us smack between a number of main roads to get all over the region.

Rooms were incredibly clean and well maintained. Soft towels, clean sheets, comfy beds. It's a steal right now, you'd be a full to overlook it at the prices Trish is offering.

Only down side is there is no food / catering onsite, but there's a lovely cafe up the road and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, cutlery and plates for you to use! Useful
