This place was such an amazing find! The rooms were impeccably clean and styled so tastefully! Every little detail was just fantastic, from the welcome drinks and cake, to the range of amenities and drinks in the room. The room and bathroom were a brilliant size and had useful storage areas.
It was so wonderful to have use of the snug living room and enjoy the incredible views.
The breakfast was phenomenal- an amazing range of cereals, fruit, pastries and the best full English I’ve ever had. Sally was the best host and was attentive but also you felt free to enjoy the place uninterrupted.
We only wish we could’ve stayed longer and will definitely be back!

Very warm welcome received from the hosts at Appleton House B and B. The facilities are very modern and were able to make use of the private snug which has a wood burner and wonderful country views beyond the garden. It was nice to not just have a bedroom as is the norm in B and Bs. Our bedroom was wonderfully comfortable with a king size bed and a large double walk in private shower room. All brand new and high spec. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the cooked English breakfast which included all locally sourced sausage, bacon and eggs. There is a good choice with continental breakfast. This was served in a private dining area for the guests. We would definitely come here again. Very peaceful place to stay.

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The accommodation was excellent, truly deserving of a five-star rating. Our host, Sally, was friendly and attentive, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay.

Tea and a delicious slice of cake on arrival was just what we needed!
