We made a last minute booking and it couldnโ€™t have been better. The park and grounds were well maintained, the toilet block was clean, and the staff very welcoming. We even had daily visits from the red squirrels as they went about their business. The site is well placed for visiting the island. We would definitely return.

We had an amazing family getaway. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. My Nephews highlight was the swimming pool, which we all enjoyed after a long day exploring the local area. The staff were friendly and always very attentive. The bar was a lovely place to relax in the evening and enjoy a drink and a pizza. We canโ€™t wait to return next year

What a beautiful apartment. There are steps up to the apartment, so beware if you have lots of luggage! The apartment was amazing. Warm, cosy and spotless. A spacious fully equipped kitchen. A dining table for four people. A relaxing lounge with a comfy sofa and a free view tv. There was also balcony from the lounge with a table and two chairs overlooking the pool (not open as out of season). Two bedrooms, one double, one twin. Plenty of storage space and comfy beds. The bathroom had a shower cubicle and a toilet and there was also separate toilet. We loved our stay here. It was lovely to come back to after long days out and a perfect base to explore the island. The site was quiet as it was out of season, but we felt safe and cosy. Cherry was very helpful showing us around the apartment. We hope to visit again one day.

The positives:|The staff are welcoming, informative and friendly|The park is beautifully maintained and location is great.|The pool looked inviting (we didn't go in as we had a week of torrential rain!)|The restaurant/bar is fabulous and the pizza's are delicious.||The negatives:|Our static caravan was dated and dysfunctional. (Pitch 34)|The double mattress was old and had coils poking throughout making it extremely uncomfortable. I used the spare blankets to cover it along with a quilt, which made it bearable. It really needs replacing, and I did report this to Reception who said it would be changed. The pillows were horrible, covered in a waterproof scrunchy plastic. Luckily I had bought my own.|The ceilings in the bathroom and toilet had suffered previous water damage and were cracked and peeling.|The kettle and toaster were cheap and basic. The toaster survived the week, but the kettle broke. Staff replaced it immediately.|The kitchen is small for a 6 berth, and there is nowhere to store food as all cupboards are required for essentials. We didn't eat in much and were a couple rather than a family, but I think a family would have found it an issue.|We had a week of torrential rain, and there are no paths to the vans, meaning a walk across soaking grass every time we accessed. Not a problem in the sunshine, but very wet feet and shoes for us! |Oh - and a unique quirk was that the TV turned itself on at some point every day so that it was always on BBC2 when we arrived back after a day out...... spooky!

Lovely friendly site with spacious, level pitches. A well thought out site. Fabulous bar which was dog friendly and also served pizzas in the evening. The pool looked lovely for young children and the other campers there were all really pleasant and friendly. One of the best sites weโ€™ve stayed in so Iโ€™d would 100% recommend it, especially if you have dogs! Hannah in the bar was very helpful and the facilities were top notch all round.

Stayed here for 9 nights and really enjoyed it. Site is well kept with good size pitches . Toilet block is modern and clean with good hot showers . We used the bar a couple of times which is really smart but very quiet, could do with a little light entertainment on . Location is fantastic with the bus stop just outside the site . Overall a great site and will definitely be returning

Beautiful site for camping/touring.|Quiet & very clean.|Excellent staff & ideal swimming pool & restaurant/bar for families.|Easy reach of Ventnor, Shanklin & Sandown aklthough Ventnor was our favourite with easy access to clifftop walks.|Plenty to do within easy reach.|The site will book the ferry for you when you book the campsite & so makes booking & travel arrangements very easy.|My son & his family stayed in one of the statics as he had sustained a tear of his achilles tendon a couple of weeks beforehand. The statics were very nice, clean & very well equipped. The statics are in an enclosed laned wall section with the pool/bar close at hand.|Definitely we will be back.
