We stayed at Quay Cottage with our small dog for two nights and loved our stay. |Beautiful surroundings, a warm welcome and a lovely cottage with every amenity that we needed. |A nice walk either way by the quay. One to the local pub and then onto the marina and the other way led us into town. |Would ? definitely recommend

The cottage was lovely, very comfortable and clean, All the equipment worked perfectly and it had everything we needed for our stay. Outside on the patio was garden furniture and there was a large open garden area perfect for our dog. Location was great, a quiet and rural area with an excellent pub serving food with lovely views less than 10 minutes walk,

4 of us tried our luck to get 2 rooms passing early evening on bikes.
The owner came outside and was a little offish.
Looked lively and empty but no rooms available.
Stunning gardens and location.
Will def try and book again online but maybe not rock up in our cycling gear.

Peace and quiet, just what we needed. A beautiful manor house, wonderful large bedroom, good facilities, delicious breakfast and a lovely host. They forwarded us the entry details as were late arriving and they were easy to use and access. The host met us in the breakfast room when we came downstairs and was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was so good. A really lovely one night stay that means we will return.

I stayed in one of the cottage with my husband and teenage daughter.||Jack was lovely when he greeted us and gave us a bit of a low down on the area.||Once inside the house I was pleasantly surprised. It had everything that we needed. I was particularly happy to see the things that I always forget, salt, pepper and olive oil. It makes such a difference when you know that your host has actually considered your needs.||The beds were comfy with lovely fresh linen.||Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely weekend at Rose Cottage, the cottage is exceptional and the area very beautiful, proximity to the Crown and Anchor with its wonderful views is easy. If arriving after dark as I did, my only tip would be to ensure you are accessing by the electric bar gate, if you’re not, you’re on the very pot holed road which will get you there but at risk of damage to your vehicle.

As someone who loves walking, I've stayed in a lot of cottages. This is by far the nicest I have stayed in. The open plan living room/kitchen is spacious, particularly with the vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you could need. Although it's a one bed, there was enough crockery for a large family, no need to continually wash up (there's a dishwasher anyway). Really comfy bed, slept like a log! TV with many channels and you can log in with your Netflix/Amazon Prime account if you fancy. Underfloor heating easy to control. Jack was really personable, offering help if needed. Hats off to the Sawday family, loved my mini break and feel thoroughly rested! The photos on your website don't do it justice btw!
