Jill is very friendly and welcoming host who really cares about her guests.|Room was huge and had everything a traveller needs including complimentary bottle of drinking water (fresh every day) and electrical kettle with no signs of limescale inside!|The bedroom and shower room were spotless clean; bed very comfortable to guarantee you a good overnight sleep and breakfasts served in a beautiful dinning/breakfast room were excellent.|What was a nice surprise is the feel of the house - old house, full of nice small things pointing to its history and with absolutely no smell of old wood which often accompanies such old buildings. |Conveniently located - walkable distance (for those who likes and is used to walking) to Purley station which also can be accessed by bus, the trip takes only a few minutes.|I would recommend this B&B!

Ardra Guest House is the kind of place I'm really glad still exists; in a world of soulless hotels it has charm and character. It was very homely, Jill really looked after us and the breakfast was top notch. Harry was such a lovely dog as well! Thank you so much Jill.

We were there for my daughter's wedding 10 minutes walk away so it was really convenient for our party of relatives and friends. One couple was ill and couldn't come and Jill was very fair in cancelling their booking at short notice.||She is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. She even gave my friend a lift to the station when she wasn't feeling well. The house is characterful and charming with a lovely dining room. Some of our party had the cooked breakfast and enjoyed it very much. I had fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants and very good coffee for breakfast - just right for me.||The tea coffee making facilities were very welcome after our journey too. ||All in all a very successfully stay and we hope to be back again.

Lovely old house with plenty to look at in all the rooms, as the proprietor's husband is an antique dealer. I had no issues with my room. The bed was great. I didn't try the TV or the tea-making facilities. The full-English breakfast was very good, in the lovely dining room. Would definitely stay again. Only suggestion is to put up a B&B sign or something indicating the right driveway to pull into. The rate is reasonable and certainly beats staying at a generic hotel for about the same money or more.

I have been staying at Ardra Guest House regularly since June 2017 and i absolutely love it. It was the best find ever and i'm so grateful i have found it - there is no where quite like it. It's my dream house, so beautiful and i love staying there and seeing Jill who is the nicest, kindest, warm and friendliest loveliest lady and is very welcoming and accommodating. I look forward to my stays here and see myself as a regular and look forward to being there this year. The rooms are gorgeous, the house is gorgeous and i just love everything about it. It's truly a hidden treasure, a sanctuary of wonderfulness and so unique. I look forward to my stays here where i do my studies and use it as a place to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings and enjoy bliss and quiet time. I can't fault Ardra Guest House at all. Thank you Jill for offering this amazing experience. I'm excited to a regular here and very grateful for your service and fabulous hospitality ; )

Lovely comfortable rooms , beautifully furnished and good thick curtains which always aids a good nights rest. Lovely breakfast too and Jill was very friendly and helpful in every way. Wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend and look forward to visiting again

Absolute gem of a guest house. Edwardian built house with period furniture to suit all (Jill’s husband is an antique dealer). Large spacious bedrooms, with all amenities available. En suite is split clean and plenty of hot water for a great shower. Peaceful nights sleep, on both nights, visiting family within the local environs. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking value for money, and great comfort. Jill is a real treasure

The best full English breakfast we had on our entire trip was here with Jill. Served piping hot in her beautiful dining room. Seriously, if you don’t get the breakfast you will be missing the very best part. High quality food, beautifully cooked. English bacon with fried bread (yes, FRIED BREAD – it’s amazing!) sausages, eggs, baked beans, tomatoes. I wish I had taken a picture of the plate. A full press of coffee all for me, and an entire pot of tea for my travel partner. A basket full of toast and fresh croissants with all the fixings on the table. This was not our only indulgent breakfast on our trip, but nothing else even came close. Beyond that, the house is great, the room we stayed in was exactly as the picture shows on the website. Beds were freshly made up with soft white linens. Shower was awesome. And Jill herself is warm, friendly and available as needed. It felt like we were guests of a kind relative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Recommend in the highest regard. P.S. Location was great for us. Leafy, quiet neighborhood, but not far from town. And you can get up to London in about 20 minutes on the train.
