Bought my partner a £130 Aroma gift voucher for Mother’s Day last year. Sadly after the painful bereavement of a close relative she was unable to use within the allotted time. Explaining the situation and appealing for an extension the manager refused point blank. Obviously the financial loss is not great but equally upsetting is the utter lack of empathy or basic human kindness. Clearly Aroma believe this how successful businesses should treat their customers. And true, they have made £130 pure profit out of someone’s sad loss. However I doubt such actions help their business or build customer loyalty in the long run.

I booked the HD Brow service and left with two very different eye brows (I know eye brows are sisters not twins concept) but I mean entirely different. I did notice something was off in the mirror when I left but didn't notice the true extent until at home. I was incredibly disappointed - the front of my eyebrows started at different points and the shapes were entirely different. The eyebrows we minimally sculpted (stray hairs causing a bumpy frame, did trim to even etc) considering I paid for "HD Brows". I was modified. I did go back into the store. Going back in wasn't great, while waiting for the manager one girl refused to speak to me or answer me. She was very actually never nasty and made it obvious she didn't appreciate the complaint about her colleague. Another women came down and was much more reasonable and friendly to deal with. I waited for the manager who immediately saw the mess, offered a refund or to fix and acknowledged that the girl will need to be watched on her next HD service to see what she did wrong *ugh* and so another client lives the nightmare. I would not go back in due to the two women: unintelligible rudeness of one and total incompetence of the other. Also, the lack of immediate investigation - get her to model it immediately before the ruins another pair! I did appreciate the manager and the lady who was friendly. It's nice to know there are some professionals at this workplace.

I couldn't recommend Aroma Spa and Beauty enough! They're the most friendly, welcoming and polite salon I've visited. The entrance is always clean and the flowers are always pretty and seasonal! There's always a friendly face to welcome you inside and somebody there to help with any queries. They're very accommodating and offer drinks and magazines to read whilst you're waiting for appointments. The salon offers so many different treatments which is ever expanding so there's truly something for everyone of all ages. I've been having spray tan and nails with Kerry A for over 5 years now and wouldn't ever think about going anywhere else to have something done. Kerry's knowledge and enthusiasm for her job is second to none and I'm always made to feel comfortable and genuinely enjoy my time at the salon (not sure she says the same when I have random nail requests!). If you're looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly salon make sure you book in with Aroma! xx

Had my lashes done elsewhere and really liked them but wasn’t prepared to pay the extortionate price they were charging for infills. I booked with Aroma and Laura very kindly agreed to do them for me, even though it isn’t usual practice for salons to infill others work. I’m so glad she did as now I love my lashes even more! The spa itself is great and it doesn’t feel like you’re on the high street/main road when you get in and close the door. Will now always go to Laura for my lashes and am going to look into other treatments at the salon.

I've been having my eyebrows semi permantantley tattooed by Marlene for a while now and I have been so pleased with them on every occasion. She is always extremely professional and listens to how you would like them to look whilst also giving her professional opinion. I love my new brows and couldn't reccomend her enough. The salon is also really lovely and all of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Had my appointment cancelled one hour before I was due. Apparently becky said she had reached her limit of massages for that day... When I called back a colleague even queried why it had been cancelled

I'm self employed so a little more notice would have been appreciated

This truly is an excellent beauty salon, Rykie and her staff go above and beyond to ensure that on every visit you feel very special. From the minute you enter you are greeted with a smile, everyone is polite and welcoming, you feel relaxed and above all the quality of the treatments is exceptional. Rykie and team you should be very proud of the service you provide to your clients - its amazing!
