We didn't stay in the rooms, simply enjoyed a dinner. For a start the customer service is 5 star. From the beginnings of making (and amending) a booking on the phone, right until the end of the evening. The girl on the phone was extremely polite, accommodating and competent. The waiter we had, who looked a little like Ben Kingsley, was very good. It seemed to me that he may have been the owner, but I can't be sure. Anyway, his manner was fantastic, not too overbearing yet appropriately friendly and warm.
The food was great, and the portions generous. It seems to me that there may still be work to do on the ambience/decor. Not that it was bad, but it's somewhere in-between a pub and a restaurant, which is of course simply what it is. But the pub side of things does make you feel as if you're at an upmarket Wetherspoons. You'd happily have a birthday there, but you wouldn't propose...that kind of vibe. I will say that it was after dark so we didn't benefit from the view / outside seating. I imagine it's a wonderful place to be on a summer's evening.

Have never stayed here but have often visited for family meals. Always good food and good service. The team are fantastic Parking is available but it does get busy of an evening. There were 9 of us for dinner at our most recent visit and, despite a full restaurant, we were very well looked after.

My wife and I traveled to Littlehampton as we had to collect something,she recommended this pub/restaurant as she had been there before.||The waitresses were very friendly,prompt and professional. |There was a good selection of beers and ales at the bar,which is always good. ||The restaurant was very busy when we got there (With elder clientele,I think my wife and I were the youngest there) ||The food was okay,nothing to get excited about,lots of fish on the menu (which you would expect being so close to the sea) ||If I’m honest,I would only return for drinks and I wouldn’t recommend for food.

Little hidden gem, overlooking the river. We had a beautiful dinner in the terrace, in the sunshine and with lovely flowers borders.
Calamari and fish &chip were fresh and lovely.
The service was kind and quick. It has parking. I would definitely recommend it and go back there again.

A last minute booking, but what a delightful discovery! The menu offers what seem like plain choices. However the quality of the cooking and the ingredients made every dinner at our table truly remarkable. We will definitely return there.

Cycled here from Gosport, didn’t have a destination in mind but the seating on the waterfront looked wonderful. Was very busy so I went into order a desert and coffee. The lady kindly let me pay and instructed me to find a table. I came out with bike and another chap working asked me if I was looking for a table, he said I could take the bench and tell the lady that. They then bought me a table to the bench which was super lovely. Food and drinks came quickly and at the same time. Lovely spot, made the spontaneous trip to Littlehampton worth it. 5 stars!!

Food is excellent, never had a bad meal, staff are amazing, helpful and friendly, my absolute favourite place to eat.
Plus lovely views of the River Arun.

We had a great time here. All staff members were so kind and helpful. The bathroom was great! The rooms were nice and the breakfast was delicious! The service here is unmatched. Just know the rooms are above the bar so you will hear those downstairs until it closes if you are someone who needs to go to bed early. We had fun joining in downstairs 🙂
