Visited our lovely little local for some drinks and to try their new small plates menu. All the dishes wee delicious and really good portion sizes. The Ashbank always offers a warm inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed night out with friends.

Had dogs and they were welcomed. Very friendly and helpful. Lovely experience. Very chatty and helpful. Will be back tomorrow. Bar outside seating and beer garden. We had emailed the Glen Bar and been informed dogs not welcome. So went to a better friendlier place.

Beautiful little hamlet with a great bay within five minutes. Comfortable rooms, friendly hotelier family , no evening meals, but a great restaurant 1.5 miles away. Great continental breakfast, good pub atmosphere.

Small hotel in the quiet village of Carradale, great place to stop. Lovely hosts, warm and welcoming. Rooms were lovely clean and comfortable with tea and coffee to enjoy in your room. Breakfast was lovely and with lots of choice from lighter continental to a full scottish breakfast which was delicious. There is a full stocked bar to relax and enjoy a local drink and the lounge was cosy with a fire,. The village itself is lovely to have a walk around and look across to Arran from the pier.

Wandered in for a couple of drinks as we were staying in the area. Small but welcoming. Staff were great and the on site dog friendly.

Has a couple of rooms with one having a screen which allows them to show sport or other things.

Decent selection of drinks from beer to wine to whisky amongst other things. Plenty of games and cards to keep you amused too.

Will go back if in the area.

Ashbank Hotel was a favorite stop of ours on our honeymoon, and our hosts treated us very well. The hotel is small and cozy and quiet. The rooms are not large, but have everything you need. The bar and sitting area downstairs were a great hang out space for guests and locals alike. We had a tasty breakfast at the hotel in the morning, and our hosts gave us good recommendations for where to get dinner in town in the evening. We loved walking around the small village of Carradale around our hotel and down to the harbor.

We arrived very early and thought we’d see if our room was ready , we’re greeted by owner and in no uncertain terms he told us that we needed to come back at 3pm earliest . I’d wasn’t very friendly . When we went back his attitude was totally different . Room was great but shower in bath and Im not sure how a less mobile person would be able to get in . Breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome . Good experience after dodgy start
