Excellent bnb very friendly and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely English breakfast with homemade jams. Freshfruit, cereal and yoghurt. In our room fresh milk and chocolate drinks. Nothing was too much trouble for Liz our host. Jill and I hope to return next year when playing golf in the area.

Although only for one night, this was just such a lovely stay. Liz could not have been more friendly and amenable. She has a beautiful home with large, spacious, well-appointed rooms in a quiet location, yet close to Horncastle where I needed to be.|She provides a wide variety for breakfast and her homemade ginger marmalade was delicious. There just wasn't a jar left on her shelf to buy!|Hopefully I'll be back another year!

A warm welcome from Liz, the whole house is so clean. My bedroom was enormous, with a very comfy king sized bed, with beautiful bedding. Bath and shower again, spotless. Fruit cake, home made i think it was very nice and fruit in the room along with quality tea, coffe and biscuits. Everything you need was there. My sister and daughter also had rooms and they were equally as nice and clean.||Breakfast had everything you could wish for and was very tasty. Home made jam and marmalade so nice I bought some to bring some. Liz is a brilliant host. The house is set in such a tranquil setting all you can hear are the birds outside. Definately booking again next time we are down for the weekend to visit our family.

I stayed at this lovely B&B with my sister and niece over the past weekend. What a beautiful house in a fabulous setting. The rooms were all very spacious and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable which is a big thing when you are away from home. Our host Liz was lovely, she made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to everyone's taste. We will definitely be back. Can't reccomend highly enough!

We can only echo the sentiments of other five-star reviews.||||Liz is a splendid host in every way and really puts the 'welcome mat' out. ||||On arrival, there were two generous portions of home-made marmalade fruit cake to have with our coffee. Our ground-floor room had a king-sized bed, and a lovely en-suite shower room. Everywhere was tastefully furnished and immaculate. There was a comfy sofa on which to relax and a large wardrobe.||||Breakfast in the dining room was first class and Liz's home-made ginger marmalade was so delicious that we bought a jar to take home with us. The house is in a tranquil rural setting, though only two miles from Horncastle. As it was late February when we visited, along the quiet road through the hamlet of Edlington, the verges and woods were carpeted with snowdrops which were a joy to behold.||||The room had a wall-mounted flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and the free Wi-Fi worked well. There is ample car parking within the grounds of the house.||||My wife and I hope to return at a future date.

We have visited this B&B three times.
It is like being home.
Plenty of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
The room is very spacious but warm and cozy.
The shower works very well.
Then the breakfast, everything you would like is there.

Lovely welcome - with homemade cake! Property is in really quiet rural location. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed.||Breakfasts are smashing with local produce (Oh those sausages - wonderful) and homemade marmalades and jams [could not resist taking a few jars home with us].||Thank you again, Liz, for all your help and information regarding the area, and most of all for looking after us so well.

Upon arrival received a friendly, warm welcome and shown to our spacious room, which was well equipped, with lots of little extras, which made it a little special. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, tasty sausages and bacon, home made jams and marmalade and plenty of it. The location of the property is very rural and beautiful, great for a rest and getting away from it all. Thank you to our host Liz. Thoroughly recommended.
