Just had lovely short break to celebrate wife's birthday. We had a lovely welcome from the front desk staff. Looks like the hotel is getting a face lift currently. Lovely little indoors pool with sauna and steam room, there is a gym and massage area too.Evening meal was very good, breakfast was good too. All the staff we're great.

This place is a hidden little gem. Yes it needs work doing within the hotel, but that looks as though it is underway and will take time. It is a huge huge building to maintain and under the circumstances I still had a fabulous stay. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade for our anniversary into a suite which was bigger than my flat at home! Staff were very helpful and pro active. Would definitely return

We booked the gorgeous Terrace room for my son's 21st birthday dinner for family. Katie made the booking process so easy, making sure everything was planned to the final detail, including ordering off the menu desserts for us. |On the night, the food was lovely and we never waited too long for the next course and never had an empty glass. The whole team, especially Phoebe, Ria and Paige couldn't do enough for us, making sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure my son enjoyed his night. Thank you so much, we'll be back.

We had a fantastic two night stay at the Avisford Park Hotel, such a beautiful building and grounds. Our room was really good, the bed was so comfortable and was immaculate, a beautiful swan was made with towels on our bed when we arrived. We felt very welcome, John and Carl could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the service was good even though it was very busy. The Hotel is situated so well for Arundel Castle which was stunning and Fontwell race course which was good fun.

I recently stayed at the Avisford Hotel for three weeks and had an amazing experience. The hotel has such great character, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

In the restaurant, the service was top-notch. Every staff member was great, but I have to give a special mention to Lily, Ria, and Izzy – they were outstanding! Their friendly and attentive service made dining a real pleasure. The food was also excellent, with every meal being delicious and well-prepared.

I would definitely come back to the Avisford Hotel again. It’s a wonderful place with great people, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Am shocked to see all the previous reviews about this Wonderful hotel. We stayed here a few weeks ago and it’s been on my mind ever since about writing a review but have been delayed due to illness.

The hotel and the grounds are Beautiful. The breakfast is great from the cooked breakfast to the fruit and danish. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and Carl was Fantastic, very attentive and professional. He really added to our holiday and made it feel extra special with it being my daughters birthday whilst on our visit. We ended up eating in the restaurant every night which we’ve not done before. After many years of staying here we can see he really is an asset to the hotel. Nicola, Natalie, and Sarah were hard working and really lovely too.

Tash got the rooms ready and was very helpful when requesting a small fridge in the room for medication, which was much appreciated. Housekeeping clearly work very hard and do a great job.

I must just say to anyone visiting the hotel if you have any issues please talk to a member of staff before leaving bad reviews, as the hotel really is special and the staff will try to help.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The best thing to do with this place would be ...
TEMPORARY CLOSE, MASSIVE MONEY INJECTION
Just a start would be,
Comfy New beds!
Fix all damp rooms and hallways
Pay attention to customers, recruit better staff...

Make it the place, it once was a good few years back!
Really, really gone down hill in last year!
Was getting bad last couple years but last year wow.....

To the real owners!
Mr Singh please come and visit and check all rooms and all staff & act fast....

Crest hotels do not seem to care?
about this run down badly run, over priced....

once apon a time nice hotel.

Maybe a complete revamp & some new staff maybe female management?
This hotel could still be saved..

Until then we won't be
recommending it to THOUSANDS of potential customers....
You wont be getting moving forward.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Our friends took us here for afternoon tea. They haven’t been before, but I had an insight to the hotel from a driving course the week before.||On arrival there seemed a shortage of staff as we had to go back to reception to try and find someone from the restaurant for us.||Decor is very old throughout and in a poor state. Despite have few diners in a large restaurant it was decided to sit us by a bucket collecting the rain from a hole in the roof, not sure why?||Sandwiches for afternoon tea seemed quite basic and scones were hard. Tea and wine were fine.||Had I booked this myself I would have cancelled after seeing the hotel the week before, but we were guests of our friends.||Hopefully now the new by pass isn’t being built some investment will go into the place to make it decent again. If not if you want afternoon tea with bottomless rain water, this is your place.
