Great parking and plenty lighting,.room lovely and private bathroomn loo across landing was perfectly clean and again lighting across on sensors so easy. Room nice....very soft bed and wonderful nights sleep..... lovely clean and bright room...if I was being picky the reading light was wrong position n too bright....but all good...Nice and warm....yes we were able to open the window ...bit warm for country bumpkin....paid extra for the breakfast which was well worth it and beautifully presented....

Sue welcomed us warmly when we arrived and showed us to our room. We had coffee with lovely ginger biscuits and the room was great. Bed very comfortable, and toasty and warm which was needed as we came in from the rain. We were given lovely recommendations for things to do including a little walk to the Ruthven barracks, which was an excellent suggestion. Thanks for a great stay!

Avoid this place at all costs!!! Their policies are extremely unreasonable and abusive. We booked a room via Booking.com and, despite arriving only an hour late (10 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.) due to lack of internet on the road, we were completely locked out. The host never contacted us to check our arrival time or to inform us of the risk of being shut out. Instead, there was just a notice at the entrance (with no prior notification), so we only discovered we were locked out when we arrived. The host ignored our calls and doorbell, and never made any attempt to reach out. A 9 p.m. check-in cutoff is already strict, but locking guests out late at night, especially on an island where hotels are fully booked, is completely unreasonable. This was not only unprofessional on the host's part but also created an unsafe and stressful situation for us as guests. To make it worse, they refused our refund request! This feels like an easy way to take advantage of customers. If you're not prepared to run a business that accounts for travel delays or basic customer service, you shouldn’t be in the business at all!

Warm welcome from Sue and Steve. Very clean and homely atmosphere. Sue and Steve are excellent hosts and keen to please....and allowed us to eat our takeaway in the dining room which was great. Full Scottish breakfast was hot and very filling along with the endless supply of fresh toast. We are already thinking about booking for next year. Highly recommend!

Very friendly hosts, so welcoming. Clean room, beds very comfortable, loved the hot water bottle, very homely. Our daughter loved Pepsi the dog and the cats 😻🐶 adorable and friendly 🫶🏻 Fish tank was cool 😎 Ample parking, Thank you Sue and Steve 😀

What a wonderful place to stay. The room is spacious and spotless, the bed is comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were lovely! Sue recommended the restaurant (literally right across the street) called McInnes and it was very good! (Thank you Sue!)|If you’re looking for somewhere homey, clean, and reasonable with friendly hosts, this is the place to stay.
