Sian is a lovely host who really made us feel very welcome . When we arrived she made us a pot of tea and served some delicious home made cakes. The room that we had ( the last available) was very small as was the bathroom but it was clean and the walk in shower ( always essential for me) was good. Breakfast was excellent and Sian makes perfect poached eggs . We only stayed one night but would stay again as the location is ideal to walk into Banbury and everything else was good.

Excellent stay at Avonlea. Extremely comfortable bed in a lovely room. Beautiful full English breakfast, with fruit juice and cereals, and the owner was so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will stay again next time we are in this area.

We stayed here for the second time to attend the F1 at Silverstone and had an amazing stay! Sian is now part of out F1 weekend experience, such a welcoming and accommodating hostess! Our room was lovely and had a nicely refurbished bathroom, and the breakfast was incredible as always!|The guesthouse is a short walk into Banbury and there's enough parking on the driveway for the number of rooms.

Lovely hostess, very friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was small (we were offered a bigger room) but it was perfectly adequate and comfortable and well appointed . Great breakfast. Very convenient for walking into Banbury. Excellent location for exploring the area. Parking available.

Had a really excellent one night stay at the Avonlea Guest house in Banbury on 13th/14th August.The host Sian was exceptional,allowing us to have the room key early upon arrival at ten am,and allowing us to leave our car on her drive/car park for 5 hours prior to proper booking in time and also for another 5 hours the following day,after booking out.Room was lovely and cosy and comfortable.Breakfast was superb,in one word !! Very close to all ameneties and for us especially close to the lovely canal area /and park in Banbury....a wonderful short stay.Best wishes,Adrian and Katrina Dove (Rugby)

Stayed for one night when going to a wedding nearby.

Host could not be more helpful and the room is a very comfortable stay.

Had to leave early, but the host still made us breakfast to take with us which was very kind.

Would definitely recommend and would return it back in the area.

I'm lucky enough to have stayed at this beautiful BnB for a few times now. Sian who runs Avonlea is lovely and keeps Avonlea clean. Everyday my room is cleaned, breakfast is made to what I want and it's perfect every time.

The view from the room I stay in is of the garden, which is so peaceful and tranquil.

Close to shops and restaurants. A little Gem in Banbury.
