Very disappointed that having booked the indoor swimming pool we were refused entry as they don't have a lifeguard. Having been before with my four children this has never previously been an issue and the pool is one of the main reasons we come. However, despite my older 3 all being over 12 (the oldest about to turn 16) and very competent swimmers, because I had my youngest we were refused. Now have four disappointed children on a rainy day struggling to find new entertainment! Staff not helpful either.

Great location for a holiday and we stayed in a cottage with a hot tub and a. Lovely view of the lake. Facilities were good. Outside swimming pool shut, changing rooms on Indoor swimming pool closed for work. Restaurant food was good. Bar was moderately expensive. Team onsite friendly. Some activities available onsite.
Cottage was nice but not fully clean on arrival, as we had insulin from the previous occupants left in the fridge. Also a toy under the TV cabinet. The Bed was not the most comfortable due to it being broken and noisy.
Only other negative was cottage number 16 private residents smoking weed daily and being noisy late at night. Very off putting when on a family holiday with children. Did report to reception and they plan to see what they can do as privately owned.
Would I stay here again? maybe, definitely not near the cottage no. 16.
Great location, as maximum of 30 minutes from everything on the island. I would use away resorts again, probably not here though.

Stayed at the lakes last September in a really nice static, so we thought let's treat ourselves to a lake side house something abit nicer, BIG mistake huge mistake. Absolutely rubbish an accommodation zero thought gone into it. Main door kept sticking you had to slam to close the door the patio doors/ bi folding doors that were broken previous people had reported the fault but can't replace because of cost. Patio couldn't be used reason because the RATS running across. The owners reply was yes we have a little issue with the RATS. If you decide to book stay in a static far far better. Or even idea just don't go.

Extremely disappointing stay, on arrival the lodge was still dirty the floors were not cleaned, dishes obviously still used and bedding was smelt of sweat. We asked if they could clean up the lodge while we went to a restaurant however once we came back nothing was touched. The beds were not comfortable either and there was no toilet paper or tea and coffee there on arrival.

Stayed in a lovely cottage here for 2 nights. Lovely facilities all round and very clean. The bar has great food, and the staff are brilliant.
Would definitely return, a great site!

Been coming here every year for years now, every lodge is wonderful well looked after, cleaning is spotless, on site staff are so helpful and caring. Well done to all that work here you are a credit to the company. Be back later in the year.

Good resort, but the pools get really busy as noone stops you from coming in. The accomodation is okay. The food is not the best. The bins are overflowing. The views and location makes up though.

Nicely set out Camping Park around Rookley Lake. Good Lodge, although a few little bits missing inside. Friendly bar albeit slightly expensive.
