From the moment we arrived we were treated to a five star service from James. As the rain poured he rushed out with an umbrella & guided us in. Gave us house information & welcomed us with a glass of fizz. |Our room was beautiful & bathroom worth a visit alone.|The whole house was tastefully decorated nothing was to much trouble. |Great service with mini bus taxi into Cartmel for dinner. |Breakfast was freshly cooked & delicious. |All in all we felt pampered & enjoyed chatting with james about local knowledge.

An excellent over night stay at this delightful and superbly refurbished Manor House. |We decided to go last minute with our dog and nothing was too much trouble. |Roaring fire, fresh flowers and smiling staff greeted us. |We were in room 5 a dog friendly room very warm lovely too class fittings, deep deep bath tub and super shower. |We were offered a lift into Cartmel but decided to take a walk there easy from the front door across lamb filled fields to the village. Lots of great dining options as well as the world famous Rogans! |What a spot Aynsome is great location for peace and all that welcomes you in this lovely race course village ! |Morning breakfast is served in the delightfully dog friendly dining room super cosy and good to die for !

A genuine 5 star experience. A niche hotel on the edge of beautiful Cartmel. James can't do enough for you, meeting him for the first time is like seeing an old friend. I don't think there's anything that he wouldn't do for you. The complimentary chauffeur service is a proper god send and means you can park up and leave the rest to them [particularly on busy race days] . Can't recommend enough - we will definitely return!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were attentive and helpful and the breakfast was excellent in terms of the choices available, the quality of the produce and presentation. The bed was very comfortable and the concierge service made it very easy to travel to and from Cartmel even though the village is not too far to walk. We are looking forward to staying again! It is a SUPER dog friendly Bed & Breakfast nestled in the heart of Cartmel Valley!||The hotel is absolutely stunning & the staff truly make you feel spoilt with their evening turndown service & glass of champagne on arrival. They didn't forget about our dog either, she was also treated like royalty with her orthopedic bed, doggy welcome pack & treats throughout her stay. They even have a doggy shower room which is PERFECT after long walks in the Lakes!!!||The breakfast was absolutely delicious and used local products from the area. In the evening we used the complimentary chauffeur service for a lift into the beautiful village of Cartel (we chose to walk back through the gorgeous fields surrounding the hotel).||Honestly this was such a beautiful stay.

Our son booked a two night stay for us at Aynsom Manor & also booked a taster menu evening in Cartmel at L’enclume. A wonderful present to celebrate a birthday & our 40th Wedding Anniversary.|On arrival at Aynsom Manor we were met by Gillian, a lady who I understand was ‘covering’ that day & the next morning. She was so personable, it was as though we had known her for ages & were friends calling to visit. I remarked on how I felt it was the warmest welcome I had ever experienced at overnight accommodation !|Later we met Mark, the man who transported us to & from Cartmel, just a few minutes away, all part of the service. He is knowledgeable, easy to talk to & very amenable, with a real passion for damsons.|Finally we met Callum. Such a genuine individual whose aim is to look after his guests 100%. |The accommodation is truly first class & in a beautiful location but it is without doubt the people who run it so seamlessly that make it much more than that.

This newly refurbished B&B exceeded all expectations. Under new ownership, it’s now a haven of luxury, offering everything for a relaxing escape. From arrival, Callum made us feel welcome with glasses of champagne. We had a great nights sleep in the spacious room. The fireplaces in the lounges created a cozy atmosphere, perfect for after a day exploring the Lakes. Plus a soak in our bubble bath, I felt completely pampered. Breakfast was fab, with lots of local and fresh options for all. This B&B is gem and deserves every one of its five stars.

We just had a fantastic stay at Aynsome Manor, and wow, the place looks amazing after its refurb! They've done a great job mixing the old charm with some sleek new touches, making everything feel both classy and cozy.

It was great being able to bring our dog along. It’s not often you find a spot that’s so welcoming to pets, and they treated ours like royalty, which made our stay super easy and fun.

Also, the driver service to and from the village was a game changer. It meant we could check out Cartmel and have a few drinks in the local pubs, without worrying about driving and parking.

A lovely weekend... can’t wait to go back!
