My first time booking a lodge cabin for the long weekend and this exceeded all expectations!! What an amazing holiday park with the friendliest staff.
The lodge was not at all what i expected, I felt at home while being in there.
The hot tub is an amazing feature to have with the lodge, so nice to be able to see the dales and stars on a clear night.
Will definitely be coming back, hopefully with more members of the family.
Enjoyed our time there so much, may possibly enquire about purchasing a cabin up there in the future!!

We stayed in the Middleham - pet, we don’t have pets but we chose this lodge as it had a log burner and the non pet version was not available for our dates. I was worried we may be able to smell dog but we couldn’t at all. The lodge was very spacious, clean and always very toasty. The large hot tub was a hit with our children and we used this loads. The lodge has a dishwasher and washing machine which we used multiple times over our 4 nights. We ate at the Falls restaurant one of the nights and really enjoyed the food there. During our stay at the lodge we woke up one morning thick snow! Our children were so excited and had the best time playing in it but we were worried we wouldn’t be able to get home the next day. We spoke to the manager (i think) and he very kindly offered us to stay an extra night free of charge if we did not feel safe leaving that day. This really put our minds at ease and we could enjoy the day in the snow more with our children, once we knew this. We were due back at work and our children back at school but we took him up on this offer and we were so grateful for this. Thanks so much Aysgarth Lodges

We stayed last weekend in The Falls lodge. Lovely lodge, comfortable beds and nice and warm which was great when we woke to lots of snow on Sunday morning. Nice private hot tub in a small fenced area to the side . Dark skies area so great for stargazing from the hot tub after dark. Ate in the restaurant, good portions and food nice . Lovely site, well maintained and a 10 minute walk to Aysgarth falls ( up a steep hill and then down a very steep hill but a great coffee/cake shop at the bottom ) . Booked again for March 👍

We stayed as a family in a Scandinavian 4 pet friendly lodge. We don’t have dogs but we were informed that the lodges are cleaned to a high standard between visits. The lodge was very clean but “wet dog” could still be smelt in the bedrooms? Possibly due to these having carpet instead of the Lino which is elsewhere in the lodges. I had to use the Henry Hoover during our stay and this also smelt of “wet dog” now I can’t criticise the pet friendly lodges too much as we chose to stay in one, however I don’t see why Lino couldn’t be put in the bedrooms instead of carpet If dog owners are insistent on their pets sleeping in the same room as them. |The bedrooms in the Scandinavian lacked power points which compared to a contemporary lodge I found slightly odd as they have usb ports in the headboard as well as plenty of plugs so if staying in a Scandinavian then I would suggest taking a power adaptor to add extra plug sockets for the bedrooms. |The showers in the Scandinavian were lovely and a lot better compared to the contemporary however the grout was coming away from the tilled panelling whilst showering. |We didn’t use the facilities at Falls End on this occasion but we have eaten there before and the food was lovely. |The refuse and recycling areas are appalling and better organisation with this is needed. There wasn’t enough space for anyone to put their rubbish so everyone just dumped it within the gated area. |We have stayed at Aysgarth since the take over in 2018 when it rebranded. We will continue to stay however small upgrades and refurbs are probably due as the lodges are showing small signs of wear and tear. We will however be back as we love the place but this would be a suggestion for management to take forward.

First time doing a lodge holiday but really happy with the experience. Well equipped, clean lodge, fantastic hot tub too. Liked it in low season as quiet for us.

About 1 mile to Aysgarth Falls and an abundance of other places to visit, an excellent base for the Dales. Will definitely return.

Lovely holiday park situated in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. The lodges are clean and of modern decor. The best part is they come with all the little things you forget, like washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel and kitchen foil on the dinner trays. I'd highly recommend staying here, but possibly not when it snows due to it being risky getting cars up the hill. Also there's no phone signal but the park has excellent free wifi .The only down side to our stay was the on site restaurant my partners fish and chips was burnt and my Sunday dinner had undercooked parsnips no cabbage and the roast potatoes aren't home cooked which was a shame other than the food the place is amazing and I'd definitely stay again and just avoid the restaurant.

Really enjoying our stay, Vanessa arranged for a cake to be put in our lodge whilst out for a dog walk to celebrate my wife's birthday, which was fantastic.
We are coming back with the younger members of the family in the summer. Great location to go out and explore.

We booked a Contemporary 4 lodge for four days over Christmas. Site itself is very well looked after. Loved the fact there was a Christmas tree in the lodge and lovely welcome gifts. The Lodge we were in however is showing signs of age now and needed some refurbishment in both bathrooms ie skirting boards need repainting or replacing. The shower screen over bath makes it very difficult to run a bath never mind actually get in it. Have stayed at Aysgarth 8 times over past 2 years and this is the first time I felt standards had slipped. En suite bathroom not as clean as it should have been. Towels with holes in. Attention to detail was perhaps missing. However we had a great stay and would highly recommend the site. Am returning at the end of January and will be booking for later in the year.
