A great little pit stop after visiting Pooh Sticks Bridge (via Pooh Car Park). Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious and plentiful. Menu caters well for different diets. Highly recommend.

This little haven of tranquility has been transported in to an amazing garden centre. The food at the cafe/restaurant is delicious. The service is really attentive. One particular young man really stands out, making sure every table is being looked after. Thankyou

Very nice cafe in the countryside. Stopped there while cycling and ordered some blt sandwiches w fries. The kitchen forgot our order but as an apology comped the entire meal which was appreciated. The food was very tasty once it arrives.

Nice place overall and the service was really good.

The food was disgusting, I ordered the breakfast and every item apart from the cherry tomatoes was either burnt with an unpleasant char or just incredibly salty. I can't imagine how heavily they seasoned the fried egg, but even it was inedible due to the salt levels.

I just ate the best scrambled egg on toast ever. And as a cyclist there have been many!
Table service a little tricky as we all know you have to see the cakes to choose 😉
Bakewell slice and coffee both also excellent.
Brilliant cafe stop in Duddleswell Garden Centre Ashdown Forest.

I accidentally found this place last year, and oh what a happy accident! The staff are all so lovely, friendly and accommodating and the standard of food is beyond expectation - quality ingredients, full of flavour plus excellent presentation. I have been several times now for breakfast after a morning walk in Ashdown Forest and hoping to return again soon to try lunch menu. Cannot recommend highly enough. Dog friendly.

We have visited this place a few times since summer 2023 and have loved it every time. It has fast become our special place because the food is consistently delicious and the staff are friendly. We went on Sunday and although they were so busy, they took photos for us and were lovely. My sister-in-law is coeliac and the chef was the most helpful out of any restaurant we have been to for how he could adapt the menu for her. She didn't have any problems afterwards, so they clearly wiped down a dedicated area to prepare her food. Basically I adore this place. They work their socks off and I am happy to see it paying off with positive reviews. I am addicted to the marmite mushrooms on toast and I tried the cherry and almond cake last time, which was amazing. There is nothing Babylon Cafe can't do!

Excellent coffee and delicious lemon drizzle cake! The greenhouse is also a wonderful place to sit
