What can I say…… This beautiful grade II listed building is surrounded by 20 acres of gorgeous, lush green land and has so much to offer. The staff here are polite and very friendly, the rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable and very spacious. You can even relax in any one of the lounge areas, listen to classical music, drink coffee and just chill. We didn’t have the time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked fabulous. We did, however, have breakfast, which we would highly recommend as there is just so much to choose from.|We give this hotel a very much deserved 10/10!!!

We stayed for two nights in one of the rooms in the main historic building and loved our stay.
The room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfy. The staff were great, being very accommodating and friendly without being overbearing.
We enjoyed a lunch outside which was very pleasant (very nice views and grounds) and the food was great. The hotel bar was also a very great place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The breakfast was also high quality and one of the better cooked breakfasts i've enjoyed at a hotel in the UK.
The hotel is a little outside the centre of Bath which was actually something we very much enjoyed as Bath can be very busy on the weekend. Getting a bus or taxi into the city was quick, easy and cheap.

First off the location is stunning, it makes you feel like you're in a period piece! Beautiful gardens, grounds and interior. The staff made us feel like the most important guests from the moment we stepped in. We had a twin room, with lovely tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities - I'm celiac which I noted before arriving and they accommodated with GF snacks in the room! ||Breakfast was included which is completely expected for the £445 for 3 nights price tag! There was a choice of continental and cooked breakfast, both were beautifully laid out and cooked. If you wanted to pay for anything extra/specific there was a menu but we didn't choose that option - the included breakfast was more than enough. I'd have liked more GF options such a cereals, pastries etc. As I didn't always want hot food. ||It's a ways away from the main town on foot about an hour and with Bath's hills I wouldn't walk. We were given a lovely map, it showed us that there's a bus stop down the driveway and to the left, the bus runs frequently and stops right outside the train + bus station so that's really handy and it's only £2 compared to the £10 we paid for a taxi on our first trip! The bus journey only takes 20 mins too. ||Overall it was a lovely hotel, I think taking everything into consideration it is worth the money - the view, the venue, breakfast and lovely staff! I would definitely stay again and recommend.

I booked a weekend stay at Bailbrook as me and my wife were celebrating our wedding anniverary and wanted to spend it in Bath.||I happend to mention this to the receptionist and when we checked in our room they decordated the room also gave us complimentry wine and chocolates which was a nice touch. ||The room was was tidy and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the handwash ( smelt amazing ). ||The staff were expectional and also the breakfast in the morning was spot on. ||Would i stay again... absoluety. Defintly worth the money. We got an uber in to town which was around £9-10 so not bad at all either.

Excellent stay. Plenty of space and staff all seemed helpful. Can’t recall ever seeing a TV in the bath before! Bar food was good but expensive. Would happily return. About £10 in a taxi from the train station.

I organised a weekend for a party of 40 friends and family to celebrate a big birthday for my wife, and it all went very well indeed. All our guests were very pleased with their rooms, and enjoyed the big dinner on Saaturday night: I should alo say the breakfasts were excellent, and we didn't need a lot of lunch. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and our fairly complicated practical arrangements went without a hitch.||Overall, I was happy with the value for money - it wasn't cheap, but it was worth the cost. In the unlikely event that I find myself organising a similar weekend in the future, I'd be pleased to come back to Bailbrook House

On a recent trip to England, I may have seemed critical in many of my reviews. This hotel is not where I could be critical. It was excellent from the start. The grounds were impeccably kept. The rooms were well designed, clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent. the restaurant in the Cloister was terrific. I would not say a bad word about this hotel. My groups only regret was that we only allowed one day there. The only other thing i would say was that when we were told it was a bout a 30 minute walk to the town square to see the Roman ruins, that was inaccurate. Maybe a jog. It was closer to 45 minutes. Keep that in mind. I would come back for a stay in a heartbeat.

We had a small family wedding here and the team were so nice. Debby went above and beyond to make our wedding special - use her for any events she really cares to make your day the best it can be. We got married in the Roman Bath Spas for the sunrise ceremony then went to Bailbrook for the reception, we had fruit platters, fresh baked pastries followed by canapes in the Garden with Games outside. We then had a three-course lunch, Champagne and a cake cutting. It was the perfect day and I can't thank the staff enough. We then had our mini moon at the hotel which we just spend relaxing, enjoying the grounds and their wonderful restaurant. They even gave us a bottle of champagne for our room and a teddy bear!
