I came here for an afternoon tea with my Brother for my birthday. We had a lovely time and were even given a complimentary glass of sparkling wine! The cakes and sandwiches were delicious, service excellent and the restaurant / grounds lovely. Would highly recommend.

Pseudo old with dark corridors, with steps & unmarked low arches. There was a strong, cool west wind that chilled the bathroom through a badly fitting window. 4 poster bed had iron rim & too soft mattress, giving me worst night ever in a hotel.|The dinner was hardly FINE DINING! We were shown to a corner table with no attempt to help with chairs or napkins. It was so gloomy we had to use the torch on my phone to read the menu. My wife had to ask for an open window next to us to be closed because of the draught. The food was well presented & tasty but not outstanding. They never enquired about it. I had a local ale that was served ice cold!!!! I had to wait for it to warm up a bit.|As disabled person, my room was on the ground floor but I could not manage the provided tunnel to the dining room so had to brave the weather to get there.|Breakfast was good but the extras were a log way from our table. Fortunately we had an excellent waitress giving us first class service. |We will never stay there again.

Had a girls Spa morning. The spa area and treatment was lovely and very relaxing, the included lunch was gorgeous and all staff were really friendly and professional. The lower mark is for the cramped changing area which is simply far too small for the amount of people using it and sadly the attitude and rude behaviour exhibitited by some older ladies who were obviously regular members of the health club there. Their nasty and unnecessary manner took the shine off what was a much needed and looked forward to day.

Divine, luxurious Spa and Dine break. Spa was fabulous, sparking English wine in outdoor jacuzzi, a real treat. Beautiful relaxing room. Amazing grounds and great food. The whole place is beautiful with friendly service. The restaurant was cosy and attentive service with 'wow' taste sensation moments.

I booked a one night say to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Neither of us were disappointed. The ambiance of the place is just lovely. The grounds are ver relaxing and spacious and very well maintained. The architecture is beautiful. The spa is great but I thought the treatments were very expensive but then again, I was in the company of people way above my station. I arrived in a Volvo, not a Bentley or as one guest did, a helicopter. The staff were very friendly and professional. The pools were very warm and the use of jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was a great luxury. I preferred the steam room to the sauna bit to be honest, was not fond of either. It did tick some box's though as I had never experienced either. Even though it was the height of the season, the place did not seem overly busy which was nice. There was lots of space and this just added to the relaxed feel of our stay. The restaurant was exceptional and all 3 courses were exquisite and the service could not be faulted. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable and luxurious. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay.

Wonderful overnight stay at Bailiffscourt. Good food and really attentive restaurant staff, who went out of their way to accommodate the dietary requirements of myself and my daughter. We enjoyed our Spa day and loved our swims outside even though the sun was not shining. Only downside of an unusually chilly autumn day was that there were not enough seats and loungers around the indoor pool for us to relax inside after our swimming sessions as all the beds were taken up. Please bring back all the peacocks....

We had an excellent two night stay, All staff in every area were friendly, helpful and patient. Fabulous dining in their restaurant. The spa was excellent with very good area upstairs for lunch and coffee. The whole experience was worth every penny.

We had a peaceful and refreshing pet friendly stay at Baliffscourt Hotel & Spa! The food was delicious, the spa was thoroughly enjoyable, our doggies were treated as beloved family members and all this in a beautiful and very special setting. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing spa break - it was everything we hoped for!
