Friendly and welcoming host. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was delicious with plenty of choice and well presented The breakfast room was nicely set out .
Our room was spacious ,clean and comfortable, with a very welcome seating area. All staff were helpful and polite. The car park was good but could be a bit tight at busy times. I like the hotel policies of no children and no dogs, I will not stay somewhere, where they take dogs.
A very nice quiet stay, thank you Harps and Ricky.

We arrived at the hotel a little earlier than expected and were warmly greeted by our host Harps. We were shown to our lovely size room with a huge and comfortable bed. Plentiful welcome tray and a nice touch was chocolates ? Good quality toiletries, lovely fluffy white towels. The whole of the hotel was very clean and comfortable lounge bar for the evening.
The cooked breakfast was amazing with excellent quality food and was the best breakfast we’ve had anywhere. Harps and her staff were all very attentive and couldn’t be more helpful, nothing being too much trouble.
We arrived as guests and left as friends.
Highly recommended and the bus stop is close by too.

Me & partner stayed 2 nights for anniversary. Firstly, as you approach hotel, we were delighted & wowed by the beautifully maintained frontage. We were welcomed by the owner and shown the respective areas we were invited to use ie. Bar area, sitting room & breakfast room all very clean, tidy & spacious.
We were taken to our room at the front which was large, airy and light, with plenty of space which also contained a settee and tea making facilities. There’s a very good en-suite, clean, tidy & containing complimentary mini sized lotions & gels for your bathing routine, and lovely soft towels.
We may have been located at the front of the hotel which is on a popular route into Bournemouth but it didn’t disturb us at all which was a very pleasant surprise.
Breakfast was delightful, again the breakfast room was beautifully set up very professionally, good quality crockery etc. The staff that served us were very polite, professional & timely. No rushing - making you feel relaxed and comfortable. There was a really excellent selection of foods available & they even offer gluten free cereals and vegetarian options. All very tasty and freshly cooked. We really cannot fault anything about our stay.
The beds were super comfy and slept very well.
We would look forward to returning again as although it was only 2 nights we came home feeling very relaxed & rested.

A real little gem of a boutique hotel. We could not fault the cleanliness, amenities and staff. We had a superior double room which was very large and beautifully decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable - I wanted to take home the bed linen it was so pretty. Our one small gripe would be that there was only one chair, which meant that one of us had to sit on the bed to drink the tea and coffee provided, or when watching the TV. Breakfast was a delight with an excellent range of choices, all served in a lovely light dining room. Our hosts were very friendly as were the staff. We were able to park in the small area available. You can reach the beach which is a short walk away and the centre of town is walkable but would recommend either car or the bus service (bus stop very near hotel).
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would not hesitate visiting again.

The food was lovely and so was the service.
We thought the bed was too big. It interfered with opening wardrobe doors. A 5ft would have been adequate. The shower room was nicely fitted, though the toilet seat kept loosening and the fan didn't do much. Bar prices were rather high.

Stayed at the Balincourt from the 7th-10th September. |It was our first hotel/guest house stay in Bournemouth. We specifically needed a place to stay that was close to my daughter and to all amenities but also peaceful. |We found it all at the Balincourt.|Our hosts we amazing. On hand if needs be but completely unintrusive. |Breakfasts were plentiful and beautifully presented. |Our room was spotless and serviced each day.|Would we return, most definitely.

We had a great 2 night stay at The Balincourt earlier this month. We booked a superior room with shower (Room 9) which was tastefully decorated, very clean and spacious. The superking bed was comfortable with very good quality bed linen. There was hospitality tray in the room with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits and bottled water was provided as well. ||The bathroom was a good size with a shower cubicle and large fluffy bath and hand towels were provided. ||Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We had to book our time slot for the morning when we arrived. There was a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts and a wide choice of freshly cooked breakfasts. My husband who is a coeliac required a gluten free breakfast which was no problem at all. Gluten free cereals and gluten free toast were available and a gluten free cooked breakfast was available, including gluten free sausages. ||Parking is available on site and this was a real bonus. This made getting out and about very easy.||In all, we had a great stay and would not hesitate to return again. Thanks to Harps and her staff for a very enjoyable stay.

Our stay at Balincourt was exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was great also. The hosts were great, very helpful. If we were to visit Bournemouth again I definitely would chose this property again.
