I stayed at this beautiful house whilst working in the area for 2 weeks in April. I could not fault anything and I really enjoyed my time there. Patricia the owner was a fantastic host and has clearly paid a lot of attention to detail to create Ballycarton House. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable, fresh towels, plenty of hot water, sky TV and even your own personal safe. It was spotlessly clean and guests have the pleasure of taking a comfortable rest in the fantastic lounge downstairs. There is a wonderful bar area providing drinks and snacks upstairs where you can purchase refreshments during your stay. Lovely to have a glass of wine after finishing work and relax in the lounge. After being there mon-fri for two weeks I really missed the breakfasts! There is an extensive choice and the vitality cup consisting of granola, fresh raspberries and yoghurt was amazing! Fresh coffee, croissants, fruit salad and lots lots more. Highly recommend this accommodation and there will be no second choice if I am back in the area. Thanks Patricia, you made my stay very enjoyable. Well worth a visit!

My husband and I stayed here in October 2018. Patricia and her husband were the soul of hospitality!! We told them ahead of time that we were researching my ancestors and they began to help us gather information. When we arrived Patricia met us with tea and cookies which was most welcome since it was pouring that day! The room was very nicely appointed and Patricia's breakfasts were outstanding. And both were so helpful with directions, etc. We are planning to return to do some more ancestral digging and will definitely come back!!

Warm welcome, and very helpful in suggesting place to eat in the evening. Comfortable twin room. We bought a couple of microwave meals one evening when rather tired from being out all day. There is a microwave for guests use on the landing,and a fridge, and an honesty box, you can buy mini bottles of wine, bars of chocolate, crisps etc. Such a good set up,wish more B and Bs had the same! Lovely garden to enjoy, and the breakfasts were great. excellent stay, would definitely stay again.

We arrived for a 3 night stay to this beautifully kept home for the 148th Golf Open at Royal Portrush . We received the warmest welcome by the wonderful host and lady Patricia, who made us feel right at home from the moment we walked through the door. Greeted with tea and treats after a five hour journey , we could immediately relax knowing we were in the right place. ||Our room was ideal - cosy , clean and comfortable. ||Patricia’s organisation skills were second to none , leaving a breakfast menu on our pillow to ensure we had our early start planned correctly with a delicious home cooked meal . ||Overall a delightful stay , in a top class guest house with a commendable host .

Stayed with Patricia for 2 night's whilst in the area for a hospital procedure. We arrived much later than expected but arrived to fresh tea and biscuits none the less. Was given choice of rooms and a quick tour of house. Patricia was very friendly and welcoming, always on hand if you needed anything. Couldn't fault rooms, beds very comfy, extra pillows and blankets and water etc, sky tv, or food, and views were absolutely to die for. The location is definitely the main selling point for the house, it's in the perfect location for touring the North Coast, beautiful gardens, beautiful views over benevenagh and if you take a trip up there you should be able to spot the house from the cliff edge!||Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back 🙂

We stayed there on Sunday & Monday night as we were attending a wedding in a close by venue. It was well laid out and spotless, breakfast was amazing and the host herself Patricia is a wonderful person. She went above and beyond for us in every way possible, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival and she even allowed us set up another room to have a hairdresser come in to us. We love this place and would highly recommend for future guests

I would highly advise staying here if you need a stop on the north coast. ||Lots of parking and great space outside. Very welcoming host which really added to the stay. ||Brilliant lounge area, lovely breakfast area in conservatory and a tea/coffee making area. ||Bedroom was great with everything we needed and breakfast was very good- freshly cooked to individual orders. ||Only point I would for travellers is that you do need a car to take advantage of this great house accommodation. ||I will be back to stay here.

No better bed and breakfast anywhere in Derry! The host , Patricia, is lovely , very accomodating and most welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Mornings start off with a breakfast of your choice from a menu left conveniently in your room. A 5 star visit every time.
