With only two rooms, we got absolutely personalised service from Isobel. This is a lovely home in the countryside - not a mansion but an ordinary delightful family home. Isobel takes pride in her hosting and has thought of all the details.||Our room was spacious enough with everything we needed including tea and coffee and even wine glasses. There was a wardrobe for clothes and a wonderful view out across the countryside.||The beds were extremely comfortable and we even had a top sheet on our beds - the first in Ireland. Normally there is just a duvet and we’ve been finding it really hot so this was a refreshing change.||The bathroom was small but well appointed and the towels were high quality, light and fluffy. Do remember to pull the cord to turn the hot water on before you shower - I learned the hard way!||Our room had every map and piece of information needed and, once we were able to connect to the wifi, it was great.||Isobel’s breakfast was delightful. For the first time in Ireland we got home made fresh fruit salad which was very much appreciated. There are also cereals and yoghurts and fresh juice.||There’s a simple hot meal menu and I highly recommend Isobel’s lovely fluffy scrambled eggs.||At 75 pounds per night per room, this was excellent value.

Our room was lovely with a private bathroom. It had lovely views over the countryside. Breakfast which was lovely was in Isobel and Matt’s kitchen which was really homely. Couldn’t have been friendlier. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.||The B and B was only approx. 2 miles from village of Bushmills where you can park easily. It has some nice restaurants and if you like fish and chips, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed one night for the Open Golf as my original place was overbooked.||Could not have been better cared foe! I was leaving at 5.15 in the morning and Isobel offered to get up to prepare breakfast!! In the end I persuaded her to just leave cereal, bread etc which she did an it was perfect. Good location in the countryside and very comfortable bed. Highly recommended!!

Positives:||1) Location - a lovely home in the countryside, a short drive to Bushmills, Portrush and local attractions, such as, Giants Causeway (6km). 2) Clean and well maintained. 3) Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. 4) Spacious, private bathroom with a separate bath and shower - you have to pull the cord to turn the hot water on before you shower. 5) Free WiFi - very fast. 6) Very helpful and attentive hosts. 7) Breakfast included in the room price, cooked by the hosts.||||Negatives:||1) The room was a little small for two people with a lot of luggage. 2) No mini fridge in the room.

I could not recommend this B&B enough! 20/10 across the board. This is my 3rd year staying with Matt & Isobel for the north west road racing. Two of the kindest people you could ever meet.
