We had to come back early from a holiday in North East Scotland and booked othis accommodation last minute. It was the nicest b and b we have ever stayed at.|The attention to detail was fantastic. A great choice of breakfast. The lady of the house was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you.|I wasn't feeling just 100 percent but I wouldn't hesitate to return to enjoy the lovely atmosphere and area. Fantastic sunset over the Ochil Hills. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable.

What a warm welcome on our first night in Scotland. The beds were comfortable and we stayed cozy throughout the night with a gas lit fireplace that cast a soft glow on the room. Home-ade shortbread and fresh flowers in our room were a lovely touch. How did our hostess know Black Eyed Susan's were my favorite? Around 3 a.m. we both found ourselves sitting before our rooms picture window, curtains flung open wide. The sleeping village sloped away from us and the chimney pots on the roofs glistened like diamonds in the moonlight. Magical! delicious abundant breakfast accommodating to vegetarians and high marks for the rhubarb and ginger preserves. Peace and quiet, just what we needed!

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a work trip. Upon arrival was greeted by the very friendly owner and shown to my room (the twin room) ||The room- clean, very presentable and spacious with large bathroom and good shower facilities ||Views - from the twin room you can see over the fields to the hills in the distance which was brilliant. ||Breakfast- well!! What an incredible selection of food for such a small place. Guests can choose from cereal , fruit , cooked breakfasts, toasts with plenty of jam options, yoghurt etc. I honestly felt bad not being able to eat more of it!!! ||Extras- a nice touch with homemade shortbread and cornflake nests provided upon arrival and each day I was there. ||Overall a very pleasant and welcoming b and b - would highly recommend and should I return to this area for work or personal pleasure I will be sure to use this b and b again.

Stayed with Pat in Saline for 9 nights for the 2014 Ryder Cup. We were welcomed from the first moment and there was ample off road parking. Breakfast was excellent when we were there for breakfast. Lovely view over The Ochil Hills. Bed comfortable and the room was warm and very clean. We had a small shower room which was fine for our needs. We really enjoyed it.

I stayed for one night on a cycling tour, my bike was stored safely. I'm vegetarian and breakfast was great. Fruit and porridge (very nice) and cooked breakfast set me up for a day's riding.||Bedroom and bathroom very clean and comfortable and Pat was very welcoming. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.||One thing worth bearing in mind if you're travelling on foot (or bike!) is that there aren't any nearby places to eat out in the evening (I think it's about 3 miles to the nearest one)

We were visiting a relative nearby and this B&B was ideally placed. Pat was very friendly and catered well for my dietary requirements (vegan). It is by no means flash but the accommodation was more than adequate for our needs including free wifi. The views from the breakfast room were truly magnificent. Should we do a similar trip again, we would be very happy to stay here.

Just returned from a 2 day stay at this better than average small B&B to watch Europe wup the Americans in the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles, about 20 miles away.||The bungalow was quite easy to find, 7 miles off the M90, on the main street through the small, very quiet village of Saline. That quiet that there didn't appear to be any businesses other than B&Bs, the General Store, a small golf club and a village Primary school. Shame we had to drive 2-3 miles to get some take away food when we arrived late on a Saturday evening - no sign of any pubs etc we could call in for a drink and a bite to eat. However, the owner, Pat, was more than helpful in guiding us in the right direction.||Stayed in the twin room, which was well appointed with 2 decent single beds, LCD TV & DVD player and spacious en suite shower room. Beds were very firm - suited a bad back!||Breakfast is served between 7-9am and is plentiful and quite delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment, but noted that the cost of the rooms were increased from the usual £80 per night (for double occupancy) to £100 per night - presumably as it was Ryder Cup season. Can't blame them for making extra money, but that is what I'd expect to pay for a 4* hotel with all the additional facilities, under normal circumstances ...

I stayed for two nights whilst in the area for a family funeral. The rooms were large and very comfortable with everything you would need, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and the views were amazing. Pat was very friendly and welcoming and helped with directions etc. I would be very happy staying here again.
