This was my first visit to Banarasi. For amondaynight it was packed. The restaurant itself has been beautifully laid out. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a starter & main course each, with a shared rice & naan between 2 people. The portion sizes were quite big, so really could have done away with the starter. All food served was beautifully cooked & really flavourful. I came away with a doggy bag, asthrte was just too much food. This was definitely value for money & I would highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I recently dined here after reading the glowing reviews, and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the extensive drink menu and diverse menu offered plenty of tempting options.
I opted for the Dhabba, while my girlfriend chose the Ravela, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The portions were generous, and the flavors were as delicious as we had anticipated.
The pricing was reasonable, and we wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Have eaten here on 2 occasions previously when it first opened and everything was outstanding.
Ate here tonight and so disappointed.
3 out of 4 of the wine glasses on our table were dirty, there was rice all over my chair.
Main courses were poor, overly salty and the chicken in mine was tough.
Dishes were much spicier than indicated on the menu.
Nan tasted sugary?
Poppadoms and dips were good.
Alcoholic drinks very reasonably priced.
The restaurant was looking a little tired decor wise. The toilets were not clean, with tissue and a snapped coat hanger thrown on the floor under the sinks. Most shocking were the huge cobwebs on the entrance to the toilets.
Staff were polite and service was generally good.
A shame that standards have slipped so much

Service was very friendly, they dealt with a large party of us with professionalism and ease. I had a modhu because I hadn't heard of those flavours together before and it was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely come again
