A really good hotel with great menus and staff. Tasty vegetarian options are offered and I also enjoyed a really nice cocktail. The home-made bread with olives was ample and in the end the portions were so generous that I couldn't manage it all.||The room was really spacious and luxurious. I loved the bath in the bedroom!||The hotel itself is airy and bright with plenty of space and pretty gardens.||The spa was also very good, with decent-sized pool, whirlpool, steam room and sauna (all these I used). It was not overcrowded and there was plenty of room for all.||I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to people who wish to have spa facilities, along with natural surroundings, a most pleasant atmosphere and excellent service.

We had our wedding here on the 21.06.2025 and it really was the most magical day, the staff are amazing. Sophie and Jo (wedding coordinators) were so good throughout the whole process. The staff on the day were so amazing. Breakfast was amazing. Everything was 10/10.

Stunning grounds to walk around - gorgeous main hotel! Me and my partner stayed here for my birthday and the room was lovely and much bigger than we expected. The food at the hotel was gorgeous and felt very special! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that my massage wasn’t great and I wasn’t asked any questions or preferences for how I liked my massage or if there were any spots that were sore and I would like to work on which was a shame…. My partner seemed to have a better experience than me though and was asked these questions so the massage could be tailored to him. The pool was fine and the sauna and steam room was packed so we couldn’t really use these facilities the way we would have liked to.

From start to finish what an amazing experience.

Called to ask some extra informations before booking, spoke to a lovely lady by the name of Kim who works on reception.

Upon arrival asked for a cheeky upgraded as I usually do this at all hotels I stay at and was given the most beautiful room looking out on to the garden. If I had the option for this room again I would pay the full asking price. It’s definitely worth it!

I had a drink in the bar in the evening amazing selcetion of wine!

Breakfast in the conservatory was unreal! The lovely Ros looked after us with five star treatment.

All in all leaving as a very happy customer.

We booked last minute and so were only able to get a standard room (fair enough). I was told by staff member it was a 4 star hotel, hmmmm. Our room was very much in need of repairs, no drinking water in room, no spare pillows, bed was a very small double. Reception staff were very nice and polite apart from the night porter who was actually quite rude. Guest rubbish and dinner plates were left outside there rooms all night and most of the day. |I used the spa which I cannot fault, very clean and well maintained. Staff at Spa were so helpful, polite, welcoming and professional.

I recently enjoyed a lovely two-night stay at the Bannatyne Hotel in Hastings, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.

From the moment I arrived, the service was welcoming. A special mention goes to Maisie at the front desk. She was incredibly pleasant, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. She kindly assisted me with dinner reservations and made everything feel effortless and welcoming.

The food at the hotel was a real highlight. On my first evening, I had the Chargrilled Pork Cutlet, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The following night, I opted for the Roast Cod Fillet, another delicious dish. Breakfast each morning was equally impressive, with a wide array of options. The buffet included a full cooked English breakfast, cereals, pastries, toast, and fresh fruit. There were also chef-prepared dishes available; I tried the Eggs Benedict and it was excellent.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. That said, due to the recent warm weather, it did get a bit stuffy and humid at times. A bit of air conditioning would definitely make a difference in the warmer months.

During my stay, I also took advantage of a spa voucher and visited the spa located next door. I booked a neck, back, and shoulder massage which was wonderfully relaxing and a perfect way to unwind.

Overall, my stay at the Bannatyne Hotel was delightful from start to finish. Great food, a comfortable and welcoming environment, and attentive staff made for a memorable visit. I would definitely return!
