Lovely stay for my friends Hen do. We had access needs that we're catered for, lovely treats of fresh eggs, biscuits and fruit loaf. The hosts were near to hand for any enquiries and were super helpful. We really enjoyed visiting with the horses on site too!||Green fire exits lights in bedrooms were a bit bright so would suggest bringing an eye mask for sleeping if lights disturb you.

We (a group of 12 adults and 10 children) hired out the barn and cottage to celebrate New Year 2020. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for all the kids to run around outside and let off some steam. They played football on the grass behind the barn and we could watch them through the large window in the lounge. ||They loved being able to go and see the horses in the barn and the field nearby.||The rooms were all of a good size and very clean.||Both the barn and cottage were also very clean and well equipped with everything that you could possibly need for your stay. ||||The barn was decorated beautifully for the Christmas period, which gave it a very homely feel. ||||We went on a few walks across the fields and visited the local pub, which was lovely and very welcoming. ||||Roger and Julie were really friendly and helpful and were always on hand if we needed anything. ||||I’m sure we’ll be back to stay at some point in the near future.

I booked the barn and cottage next door for my 40th birthday so I could spend quality time with all the family. We had a blast & the accommodation was fantastically well equipped.|The barn is warm clean and modern with underfloor heating throughout. The pictures on the website didn’t do it justice. There is a full size fridge in the kitchen as well as an under the counter fridge and a freezer and two ovens and hobs.|We weren’t sure what to pack but the place is so well equipped that there’s not much cupboard space to put your actual food, luckily there’s plenty of work surface.|Everyone commented on the baby supplies and even a dog bowl in case you forgot one. The only negative I’d say would be that it would be better to have a separate living room as having all kids & adults in same room of an evening it was very loud, also we all put t-shirts over the light above the bedroom doors as it glows very bright green.|Tip: arrange a shopping delivery for when you arrive as it’s quite a trek to nearest shops & if you can, book into the horse riding next door- same owners.

A large group of us stayed in the barn during the week and it’s a delightful place to stay for a large number, totally flexible in the layout with large living room areas, kitchen and various bedroom sizes to fit any type of group requirements. For us we could put all the loud snorers in one room!||||Julie and Roger made our stay most welcome and the enormous tray of home cooked scones were scrumptious.||||Scamblesby is a delightful location for a break, some of us went walking along the Viking Way and others played golf nearby. Julie wrote to us before our stay to recommend where we could eat out, and conveniently there’s a superb pub in the village (Green Man Inn) which serves home cooked dinners and hearty lunches.||||We were advised to pre- book with being a big party and the staff at the pub couldn’t be more helpful, organising a large table in a private part of the pub. Great ales, roaring fires and only a 3 minute walk back to the barn.||||We all had a great time in the barn and Lincolnshire Wolds and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Really good place to stay, has everything you need as very well equipped and very comfortable. We was with a large group of people and it was very spacious. This property I feel is not a 4 or a 5 but lies somewhere in between. Value for money it's about there and a very clean place. I feel that there were a couple of things that had been missed but that was to do with the general upkeep of the place. The scones that were there on arrival were fantastic. Overall place to be if you want to be out of the way.

Perfect accommodation to host 4 families (8 adults and 8 kids between the ages of 10 & 17), plenty of space both indoors and outside to enjoy the company. Could not fault the barn, it was fully equipped and lovely and clean. Would book again!

My wife and i have just returned from a 1 week break at Brook House Cottage. We found the cottage to be spacious, airy and very comfortable. There is everything there to meet all of your needs and it is situated in a peaceful, quiet location. Perfect for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds. To Julie and Roger, who were friendly and very helpful, we would like to say thanks for a lovely break. Already booked for next March

Stayed for two nights with friends for a nearby wedding in both the barn and cottage. Excellent, well equipped accommodation in lovely surroundings (even in mid Feb!). Would highly recommend and looking forward to a return trip.
