We had a 3 night stay and enjoyed it immensely. The hosts were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was exceptionally good you could order what you wanted the night before. This is definitely a place I will be staying in again.

My husband and I have just spent 7 days at this beautiful Guest House. Andrew and Jill are easily the nicest, most helpful, friendliest and welcoming owners you could hope to meet. We also got to spend the week with their gorgeous Gertie, who we fell in love with! Our room was massive, our bathroom was equally massive. The accommodation was spotless. There was a plentiful supply of teas, coffee, hot chocolate which was topped up daily. Breakfast had the most choices we have ever come across and I have to mention here that Jill's poached eggs are to die for! You could also choose daily what you actually wanted for your breakfast and when you wanted to eat it! The Guest House is well situated for visits to the Broads and some exceptional beaches. We can definitely highly recommend this establishment and look forward to returning there ourselves in the not too distant future. Thank you, Andrew, Jill and Gertie once again for a lovely holiday.

If you like a home from home then Barnard house is it.|Jill and Andrew are wonderful hosts, happy give recommendations and help on the area. Our room was beautiful and light, bed comfy. It was great to also see Hot Chocolate in the tray in the room, don't get that in many hotels. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, which was freshly cooked in the morning.|||

Absolutely fantastic accommodation!!!..
Stayed for 4 very enjoyable nights.
The room was lovely and fresh with a very comfortable bed and great ensuite.
To say breakfast was very enjoyable is an understatement. Everything was prepared fresh and served hot.
Andrew and Jill were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them.
This place really is home from home...right from the minute of arrival to the morning of departure.
I am very happy to recommend Barnard House and will happily return again for future breaks.

My son and I had a lovely stay at Barnard House. Everything was very well appointed - the mattresses were super-comfy, furnishings pristine, shower that I could work really easily. I was very impressed. The room was spacious, and the bathroom huge!!||Breakfast was a fine affair, sitting at the old polished table of a morning. I was especially pleased that all eggs were free range. ||We met Gertie, the friendly dog, and were made to feel very much at home here with our affable hosts.||My only reason for not putting a 5 is because I'm Mrs Ethical and I'd've preferred toiletries to be eco too, but that really is a super-minor point ccmpared to the time we had at Barnard House.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Barnard House. The owners are very welcoming as is Gertie the dog. The room was very well equipped with all you need. Perfect position for the beach, stadiums etc. The breakfast choice is amazing. Plenty of parking in the area. What more can I say it was a perfect place for us to stay to attend a wedding at The Boathouse

Just had a lovely 3 night stay at Barnard House. Beautiful house, large double room with a super comfy bed and large ensuite shower room. Very clean and homely, Jill and Andrew made us feel very welcome and were very helpful with advice on the local area. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choices. Free parking outside the house and perfectly located as a base from which to visit The Broads and the North coast beaches. Would highly recommend Barnard House.

We stayed at the property between 29th -1st Oct this year. The accommodation was really good, no issues of note, very comfortable and homely. Exceptional breakfasts with a varied choice, great location off the beaten track but close enough to public transport connections and close to coast, and walk-able to town if needed. But best of all was the service, very welcoming and approachable, always cheerful. I would recommend to all.
We would definitely look to stay again in the future, but booking directly rather than through external forums.
