My friend and I stayed here before the Easter holiday after a few days in Edinburgh. The place was very clean, modern (for the Scottish countryside), and a had a great bathroom. We had the room with 2 twin beds, and it was a great stay. We both had the 'full Scottish' breakfasts, which were exceptional. Tea, coffee and treats were there for us when we checked in. Hosts were very helpful, and up for a good chat. Overall, a great experience if you want to get out of the cities for a place in the country. Will absolutely stay here again if I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stopped here for one night during a road trip around Scotland. We were greeted by both the owners and made to feel very welcome. The premises are converted farm buildings and are modern and well appointed. There is access to a pleasant lounge area with excellent views across the mountains. There are a number of nice touches, free bottled water, a small welcome box of chocolates and access to hot drinks 24/7. In addition John knocked us up a pot of tea with a couple of scones on our arrival. The rooms are very competitively priced and with good standard decor. The en suite is modern with a good shower. Breakfast was a treat and knowing we had a long journey ahead, John sent us on our way with a couple of fritatas for our lunch. Excellent service. The premises are very well sited for visiting the Lake of Menteith.

Baron House picturesque setting is matched by its owners warm and friendly reception. We were met by John with a cheerful smile and his welcoming comportment at the front door. After settling us in John and Tricia served tea and home-baked scones which were absolutely delicious as John is a retired professional chef. John explained that the breakfast room was stocked with fresh fruits, coffees, teas, soups, and biscuits to be enjoyed at anytime during our stay. ||||Our room was tastefully done in a country manor-house dΓ©cor. Bedding and sheets were matching and very comfortable. Our bathroom had heated towel rails and flooring with an adequate shower. Our room had French doors that gave us a wide view of the surrounding countryside. The free WiFi was fast and secure. Plenty of room to just laze or walk around.||||Breakfast was delicious and bountiful and left us with no doubt that John still had a flair for the culinary arts. Each guest was personally attended to by Tricia and every effort was made to make all feel fully satiated at the end of the service.||||After breakfast, we immediately decided to stay on another day. Normally, we just move on from place to place, but the experience made us want to linger a little longer. We will definitely tell our friends to stay at Baron House.

We had a perfect stay with you. The accommodation, food and service were all magnificent. We really loved the personal touch of the bed and breakfast but at the same time with the privacy you get in a larger hotel. The setting is just amazing, so picturesque and was the perfect base for us to explore the Loch Lomond area. We just wish we could have stayed for longer. We'll be back in February as we continue to plan our wedding so we will see you soon. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. John and Fiona.

Would recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to guarantee a peaceful and quiet night in a tranquil setting. Room I had was tastefully furnished more like a hotel than B&B. No views from windows just onto courtyard but wasn’t an issue as outdoor seating and a lovely reception room off the entrance to property. Nice touch was the box of chocolates and spring water.||||The walk to the pub via main road is OK after rush hour but not recommended at other times however there is a an alternative via fields at back of property but takes a bit longer. Breakfast was fab as well.||||As a mountain lover the only negative was shame not closer to mountains rather than set in open fields but still nice countryside.||||p.s. Be wary of sat nav taking you to wrong address the old couple will not by happy!

What a find! Stayed here for one night but wished I had booked for longer. Exceptionally furnished to a very high standard with extremely comfortable beds and the ensuite had an amazing shower. Really friendly welcome and we were looked after very well. Great Scottish breakfast and a chance to chat to friendly tourists. A wonderful stay in a fabulous setting!

Wonderful place. The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful to us. Allowed us to check in early as we had a wedding nearby. Welcomed with a cup of tea and shortcake and offered us advice on finding the wedding. Explained about breakfast and were so nice. Wonderful sleep and lovely room, lounge and surroundings. Loved the breakfast and will 100 % stay again and recommend to others. Great value and wonderful place.

We arrived Sunday around 4pm and was met by the lovely owner Tricia, who warmly welcomed us and then gave us the option of two lovely rooms. Showed us the complimentary coffee and tea area and the open lounge that's is lovely also.||We then headed out for dinner on her recommendations to a lovely pub called the black bull(We would also recommend that), Before we left we asked for our champagne to be put in the fridge which we had access to and she kindly gave us a champagne cooler and two lovely glasses.|Having returned from dinner we settled in the open lounge area, Relaxed and enjoyed our drink before bed.||The next Morning we headed out for a nice run before having a lovely breakfast.||I would recommend this Bed and breakfast to all! ||The owners Tricia and John, 5* for you both we shall be back again for sure!||
