Small truck stop that holds 20 trucks or so. Visited there to stop over only to be told that the cafe was shut - even though it didn't say that on the InTruck app - and they didn't tell me when I phoned to reserve a spot.
There's 1 toilet, a tiny sink and a run down shower. That's it. Don't hold your hopes up for anything else - cause you will be disappointed. Gave 2 stars because 1 star means I hated it - which I didn't. I just disliked it. Hence the 2 stars - plus there's not much to review apart from a dank shower, the toilet and a sink. ?‍♂️

£34 To park a HGV, absolutely disgusting place to stay, please do not stay here. Toilets and Shower never been cleaned, Also when trying to wash in morning had to do so by Torch light. Please see pics.. Also food terrible, coffee well I won't go there. Overall if I could give a zero star I would

Nice place to stop for a bit of good home cooked food after a day's work or before, reasonably priced and good for truckers parking I would also say the woman that runs the cafe is very pleasant and chatty ?

OMG they ask full price for this?! One dirty toilet and one shower! Never again! No early breakfast they open at 9am?! Please.. and I was very kind to write this only.

Firstly, I’m sorry I can only rate it two stars but it’s not to standard, yet.
I stayed a night here and would have loved to give a better rating as the owners are really nice and welcoming. Unfortunately the previous owners let it come to a state and there’s a lot of work to do and some money to go into the business until it’s up to a standard I could rate as adequate.
On the pro side: The cafe is a nice place with good and reasonably priced food. The truck stop is clean and so are the facilities beside they’re pretty run down and need a lot of attention. Maybe a facility container would be a good interim solution.
On the con side: It is quite noisy due to the A38 only a few yards away from the lorry park. As mentioned earlier the facilities need to be refurbished completely and this includes increasing the amount of showers, toilets and sinks.

In total I have to say I’ll come back and will see how the new owners are getting on and what sort of improvements they’re going to put in place.

Again, the truck stop is under new management and it looks like the new owners are working hard to make this a decent place to stay for the night and I wish them all the best.

We went here to use the industrial size washing machine and tumble drier which is situated outside. While the washing was in the machine we went in and had a small all day breakfast of sausage egg bacon beans toast and a mug of Tea. For £6. Great service and good food for a good price I can't say fairer than that.

Arrived to park for the night at 7pm and the place was locked up and Cafe closed despite being advertised as open until 8pm so ended up going to bed hungry.
The parking area is full of pot holes and puddles and there was nowhere to book in, you have to stand about in the rain texting your details to a mobile number.
There’s one manky toilet with a tiny sink next to it and a shower I wouldn’t even stand in with my work boots still on ?. Despite all this they’re charging top price for parking.

Personally I’ll never park here again and would advise other to give it a miss.
