A friend recommended Baste to me, and I was thrilled that I could find my kind of food in Marlow (especially during lockdown). All the wings I’ve tried are moreish, and the chicken sandwich is not only delicious, but huge too. The loaded tater tots are full of flavour and unmissable. Do they sell out? Yes, and for good reason. Set your alarms to place your order at midday Wed-Sat.

The food was delicious, so much so that my partner now wants wings as our go-to takeout! ? We ordered two sets of the wings [buffalo hot & korean gochujang] as well as the Koji & Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger. It fed two of us for dinner & lunch the next day. The value for money is fantastic, and the quality of food, flavour and texture is seriously not to be missed! The process of ordering and collecting was super easy and smooth. A wonderful experience all the way through!

Hands down, the best wings in town!!! Crispy with creative flavours in perfect balance. The burgers, truffle fries and other sides are absolute winners too!!!! If you have not been you are missing out!!

If I had a complaint...... it would be it’s a shame they are not located closer and not open 7 days a week!!!!

Located at Crafty Taproom in Marlow, it’s the perfect place to pick up great food and some great beers!!!

I had gone past The crafty Taproom so many times and saw people eating and everything looked amazing. So I enquired about the food the gentlemen who I think owns the place told me I had to go online and order as Baste do the food separately to the bar.

I went online later on the evening and saw there was a space, but only for sitting outside. So I ran down and asked if they were still doing takeaways. The lady came out from the and said what she had left and said she could do me something .

Low and behold ten minutes later came out my takeaway order. I got a vegan burger and the truffle fries with beef dripping. It was delicious. I've had food from there two weeks in a row now. Definitely worth checking out. As you can sit outside the bar and have a few drinks and some good food. Book in advance though as I just got lucky and I know she sells out fast.

Best local burgers and wings hands down!
Completely addicted to this place, if you like wings and burgers you have to give them a try! - I have waited a long time to get good buffalo wings outside of London.
Love that they also do a 'trial it Thursday' where they do a new wing flavour each week.
I hope this place is around for a long long time!
(gotta get in early though as they are popular so sell out quick, which isn't a problem as long as you are organised)

The best wings we have eaten in ages, plus the burger, oh and totally addicted to the tater tots!!. We have ended up ordering most weekends. It’s a super efficient set up and the staff are friendly and helpful. I have even started setting an alarm so I can make sure I get my order in!!!

Such delicious food, baste is a MUST! I’m a veggie and have had the vegan burger on a couple of occasions, it is SO tasty! My family love the chicken wings and have tried them all on the menu. As it’s so popular, I’d recommend being organised and setting an alarm to get your order in. You do not want to miss out on these burgers and wings!! Thank you baste!

The best chicken wings! You can tell they pride themselves on quality for amazing value. Their Korean wings are my personal favourite but their menu offers something for everyone. It's clear the team work really hard and keep striving, even through a pandemic!
