Bath Mill Lodge Retreat is absolutely stunning. It’s the first time my lovely lady and I have stayed, and it didn’t disappoint. It was by far one of the most beautiful and enjoyable holidays I have ever had. We stayed for a 4 night break. Yes it is January and it isn’t warm outside, but everything about it was beautiful, peaceful and just divine. So much so we have already booked to come back in May. Lodges are well appointed and very clean. Landscape and the stream that runs through, really adds to the appeal of the place. 5 stars all the way. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely location, been here before. Accommodation was good but could do with a deep clean. Brought our dog who s a black lab. There was white dog hair everywhere. Bathroom needed a good deep clean.

We just went into the mill for a drink, they had a few ciders, lagers and ales on keg, we chose a Sharps Atlantic as it was the closest to what we normally like (we are real ale drinkers who don’t mind some craft ales)
For a quick drink it was quite pleasant, looked ok if you wanted to eat but we’d already eaten.
All in all no problems, nice staff and clean well presented place.

This was our second stay here and again didn't disappoint, there was a couple of small issues with the lodge that were rectified very quickly and apart from that it was comfortable and fully equipped. It was very cold during our stay, even snowing and the lodges heating stood up to it well.|This isn't a site for families looking for alot of leisure activities as apart from a nice restaurant/bar there isn't alot to do, however if you want a relaxing stay among pleasant surroundings it's ideal.

Well what can i say just spent two days at this wonderful place and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Staff were so lovely on arrival caroline and her collegue were so friendly, helpful and then the collegue we see in the evening for a meal in the bar, her and her other collegue were so helpful and friendly. I can not have a bad word to say at all 5 star all the way. Accomadation was fab and clean and the bus to bath was so easy right outside the park and taxi back £11 so overall a relaxing trip away x

Great location, we've visited here a few times now. This time, we noticed the rooms were looking a bit tired, especially the bathroom and en suite. They both need some TLC
The bar was good although a little pricey, but as you're a couple of miles from Bath
You just pay the going rate

This review is written in addition to the review I wrote on the 30/12/24 first day of a 4 day stay for a new year get away . As previously mentioned we have been to 3 other sites returning to Rockingham forest twice so we expected a great deal|From this one . after finding lodge 28 to be dirty and the onsuite back cupboard bedroom smelly and floors not been washed and overall cleanliness poor and being told a cleaning crew would attend the next day 31/12/24 to make good . I|Ended up|Cleaning a little ( floors ) to make it bareable . The cleaners did attend but on our rerun from outing there was little to no change . I had bought cleaning stuff and air freshener so claimed|What I could . We asked for the general|Manger to come to the lodge ( as I had used some of the towel to Clean s site wouldn’t give me cleaning equipment so I improvised . The cleaners were sent instead I told them I had cleaned more|Apologies as they were told it was only the kitchen floor needs cleaning . We stayed one more night then I couldn’t stand the smell anymore I gave the site a chance to make good they did not . We had to suffer fireworks being let off on site at new year ( against site rules )|My dog was stressed I was miserable|So we left on New Year’s Day . ( w days early )‘I have made a complaint can’t imagine anything will be done . So angry and disappointed. Real shame new year for us was ruined Best advise I could|Give is not to book here unless you see the amount of reviews highlighting the level of cleanliness has improved ! I paid over £600 for this horrendous ordeal be cautious before booking . Other annoyances tv is outdated and old|So don’t expect decent viewing . Bins and dog waste bins limited and you have to|Walk a bit to get to them . Bar area is tiny|Food shop rubbish no things like bread and milk. In compassion to|Smaller sites this was surprising .

Lovely Lodge retreat, great base for many local attractions. The lodge was very well equipped, we even had a welcome pack for our dog. Spotlessly clean, super comfy bed. Excellent food in the restaurant and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend a stay here.
