Very beautiful house ! The room is wide and nice. Few details to improve such as an espresso machine. The idea of the self bar to make cocktails is brilliant. Having someone to teach or at least support can be great. Excellent restaurant. And good service even if all is done by one person !

What a lovely experience this was. A lot of private parking space and great public transport nearby. The rooms were furnitured very lush and luxurious. The bathroom was great. Breakfast was superb and the staff was amongst the friendliest we’ve encountered. Absolutely recommended! Also the supplied sweets and drinks in the minibar were a lovely touch! ?

Good parking with space at the front and rear of the hotel. Easy check in and electronic door key. We started off in Room 2 which had a bed, a comfortable chair and a well appointed bathroom up to the standard for this level of hotel. There is some daytime noise from the fountain but this goes off overnight from 8pm until 10pm. Unfortunately our tv had a blue tinge and our safe wasn’t working so the guy in reception promised to get it sorted next day. When we got back next day they were the same and the helpful young lady moved us to Room 10 which is bigger with a settee upstairs and had a working tv and safe. Quite a nice room with windows each end. And lots of room. There are no cupboards in the rooms but there are shelf units and a clothes hanger on the wall. The safe is half size which won’t fit an iPad but fits a Kindle.|Breakfast was in the conservatory which is very pleasant and you can watch activities in the car park. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare and very satisfying.|We had one evening meal in the Bouvardia Restaurant. We were given the five course menu but the starters arrived without the amuse bouche or the bread. We had wine, coffee and sweets and a rather strange bill. The food was great, certainly up to expectations, and the wine was pretty good.

A wonderful place to stay. Pristine and elegantly decorated rooms.
I loved the tea corner as it comes with the sweet goodies. ?
Only few things that can be bettered, one it needs to have a small lift, the rooms should have a phone to connect with the help desk and there should be a Dental kit added.
We were lucky that we carried ours along. ?

Overall a wonderful place.

Bathen House is a beautifully presented boutique hotel that has had careful thought and attention to the rooms and bathrooms, quality in room refreshments and a homemade cookie in the room on arrival (delicious!) the bed was very comfortable, in a quiet area, parking and good access into Bath (c.30 min walk but easy drive/bus into the centre). Breakfast in the morning was lovely, with a nice option of hot and cold food.

I cannot recommend Bathen house enough - it was an excellent stay all around. Our room was very spacious with lovely interior and sure king sized bed. The bathroom was also huge with shower and bath. A lovely addition were the complimentary items in the mini bar which were much appreciated. Breakfast service was really good with plenty of hot options as well as a continental buffet. The staff were very kind and helpful, special mention goes to Olaf who was there pretty much every time we came in and out - at reception, breakfast and dinner - he was incredibly nice, always smiling and cheerful! The location is great even thought it's a 30 minute walk to Bath city centre - we enjoyed staying in a more quiet area and the walk through the parks toward Bath was lovely. We took a taxi each time on the way back which is a convenient 7-10 minute ride back from city centre. There is free on site parking in front of and behind the hotel building which is very convenient. I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone who's looking for a luxurious place to stay in Bath - we will certainly be back very soon.

We have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as a couple. We had the front ground floor room with private entrance. Great since we parked the car right outside the door. Our room was spacious, clean, free water, tea & coffee throughout the stay, small bag of various sweets at arrival , bathrobes ( but no sleepers ☺️) , cotton buds and makeup remover pads which was great . Very friendly staff, helpful . Plenty safe off road parking too : 4 spaces at the front and maybe 8-9 at the back. We didn’t have breakfast due to timing. Would definitely recommend.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bathen House, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the luxurious atmosphere was evident. The Superior King Room was immaculate—perfectly clean and thoughtfully designed with high-end finishes that made the space feel both opulent and welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep in a wonderfully quiet environment, perfect for unwinding after exploring the city.

What truly set our stay apart was the outstanding service provided by all the staff, especially Francesca, Kate, Jeremy and Chrissi. They were attentive, warm, and professional, always ready to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Every little detail seemed to be taken care of effortlessly, from check-in to any special requests we had during our stay.

The breakfast each morning was a highlight—absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh, high-quality options to choose from. It was the perfect way to start our day.

Additionally, the location is ideal—the town centre is just a 30-minute walk or an easy 8-minute drive away, allowing you to enjoy both the peaceful surroundings and the convenience of nearby attractions.

Overall, Bathen House offers a luxurious yet cosy retreat, and we can't recommend it highly enough. We can't wait to return!
