We stayed here on an impulsive get away weekend and had a lovely time. Peter was helpful and kind and the place was beautiful and spotless. It even smelled lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the little hot chocolate/coffee machine was a nice touch. Peter was very kind to accommodate my gluten free needs as well.

Our view from the room was amazing and the room itself was spacious. The bed was cozy and warm. Overall we had a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Battenhurst Meadow. We arrived late in the evening following a long drive, and were warmly welcomed by Pete on our arrival. Set in a tranquil location, the B&B was surrounded by beautiful views and a variety of wildlife. The family room was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The facilities were excellent, with Pete making sure we knew where everything was. Attentive but not overbearing we agreed a time for breakfast, and again Pete was very considerate of our requests. In the morning, we were treated to a superb cooked breakfast, with other options also available. Both Pete and Sue were again extremely hospitable, and we enjoyed both their company and observing the variety of wildlife in their garden.|An excellent stay, we would definitely recommend a stay at Battenhurst Meadow.

We stayed across the B&B, Arch and Cabin. All facilities were brilliant, clean, well equipped, the beds were comfy and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the view was stunning to wake up to. |We’d definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!

We (my husband, our children and I) and my parents had booked the two b&b rooms available for a family wedding we were attending in the area. The setting is so beautiful, lots of birds visiting regularly and views of rolling countryside. The owners, Pete and Sue, are so welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious! They offer cooked, cereals, pastries, etc - plenty of choice to fill us up! Plenty of garden space for our children to run around which was brilliant. The beds were very comfortable and they also provided a comfortable cot. The whole b&b was very clean and had a homely feel. ||||Thank you so much Pete and Sue. We all enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely return if we are back in the area and will recommend to all!

We stayed in one of the wooden glamping pods in the campsite area, as the B and B was full. We walked up the road for breakfast in the morning at the B and B. We thought the whole stay fabulous. The pod was so comfortable and clean and very private, with a great shower room and just a lovely feel about the place, it was such fun!! There are lovely country views from your bed down the valley and across the hills, you park your car right by the pod, the breakfast was delicious up at the house, and Pete and Sue are so friendly and welcoming. We loved it!

We had a wonderful experience at Battenhurst B&B. The room is immaculate, as is the surroundings and the view from the room is breathtaking. I woke up early the next morning just to watch the sunrise! Pete & Sue are so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed many conversations with them, and they could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I even quipped that we would 'like to move in permanently' !||||Bed is extremely comfortable, shower room & bath facilities immaculately clean and modern, and the breakfast is 5* !||||I could not recommend this B&B enough. We had a wonderful stay and shall return again.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Peter and sues B&B. We were attending a wedding not too far away and chose to spend a few days extra as an extended holiday and chose battenhurst as our B&B. On arrival we were welcomed by Peter and shown to our room. The room was much bigger than we expected. Plenty of space for myself my partner and our toddler. Everywhere was so clean and in immaculate condition. It was lovely and peaceful. Breakfast was lovely we had a full English for two days and asked for a continental on our last day which was lovely aswell. Our toddler loved going to see the sheep in the next field. We felt relaxed and at home. Quick review. Everywhere was super clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely, nice and hot and well cooked. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was available 24/7. Peaceful place to be, and excellent hosts. Very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely be back to stay if we were in the area in the future. Thank you again Peter and Sue. Pete and Sue were great hosts. The site is quite remote and as a result, wonderfully peaceful. It's roughly a 40 minute walk from Stonegate train station. Breakfast was excellent with a full English served up by Pete. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, in fact the whole house was extraordinarily clean. Will definitely return in the future.
