What an incredible hotel! The place is so beautiful and historic. The bed was so comfy and the shower had great water pressure. We particularly loved sitting out on the outdoor terrace having a drink (we were so lucky with the weather) and the honesty bars were such a great addition to the communal spaces! Special mention to Stacey who was fabulous, the service was immaculate. Will definitely be staying here again!

Great staff that makes you feel at home! Had a wonderful time staying here. It’s in a lovely neighborhood, that is a bit more quiet than other parts of London. However, it has many great shops in walking distance as well as great restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for younger people, as the neighborhood it’s in is very youthful with lots of vintage shops and great restaurants and activities. Staff was amazing, with a 24 hour service. Going to this hotel feels like going home.

We stayed at this glorious hotel on the first leg of our UK trip. I wanted lodgings that my teenaged granddaughter would enjoy, and Batty Langley did not disappoint. When we arrived early morning from our overseas flight we were treated to tea, coffee and biscuits. The hotel is beautifully furnished and appointed. Environment is quiet, almost encourages whispering. Delightful! Staff was amazing. Nothing seemed too much trouble to assure our comfort. Highly recommend for a unique London experience!

Just had the most fabulous stay! Rooms and facilities are high quality and very characterful and very, very quiet. Staff were all kind, friendly and super helpful. Breakfasts were very generous and great quality. Location is great with plenty in the City and easy public transport connections to the rest of town and beyond. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend this place I enough. I wish this was a 1-10 scale so I could give them an 11.

All the staff were amazing. I had amazing conversations with them about the house, and (for me, and more importantly) their book collection.

I was blessed to discover a small historic find among the books while I was there, and had an amazing discussion with Tim about it. Frankley....incredible.

Can't recommend this place enough. All the staff are awesome.

If you're coming to the city....stay here.

We can't say enough about how wonderful this gem hotel is. We stayed here for our honeymoon trip to London and everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, quiet, comfortable and the personal touches about the people the rooms are named after make it so fun to learn about the neighborhood's history. The location is perfect right around the corner from Spitalfields and Liverpool tube. The staff was so kind and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

My niece and I loved this hotel! It was a little more out of the way than I had expected (my fault for not mapping it properly), but we grew to really like the area and the underground station is only a few blocks away. It's preferable for me to not be in the middle of the touristy areas. The hotel is beautiful and unique. The best part, though, is the staff. They were so nice and accommodating to two slovenly, not chic Americans. I so appreciated their kindness.

We booked several rooms as a family get-together in London. The decor is lovely, and the rooms - although a bit dark with heavy furnishing - are very effective and comfortable. There is no restaurant for breakfast but you don’t need one in this part of London, and they will order food for you. Honesty bar is nice.
