One of the nicest campsites I’ve ever stayed on. Booked same day as I was walking a stretch of the SW Coast Path (which runs right past the entrance to here), and I couldn’t get a more friendly welcome when I eventually got here after a 15 hour day. Facilities are superb, absolutely loved the showers (a proper jet!), and the location is amazing. Even with a bit of a sea mist I had a stunning view across Looe and Looe Island. It’s a shame I can only give 5 stars as I’d give more if I could.

Not sure how this site is rated so highly.
We stayed here for three nights in a pod.
The pod was very spacious but had cobwebs on the roof, had it's own water tap and view was stunning.
The facilities were the worst I've ever had to use on a site, the toilets weren't bad but the trough style sink was filthy with toothpaste all over them, the single sink was also filthy.
The showers were extremely dirty and it was obvious they hadn't been cleaned in months.
Didn't use the washing up facilities as they were dirty.
In the time we stayed nothing was cleaned.
Met Liz (owner) on arrival but did not see the site manager Andy.
I felt that the owner of this site is happy to take your money but has no respect for her guest's due to the disgusting state of the facilities.
It's such a shame as the views are stunning but the views are not worth staying at this site.

We have just managed to pull ourselves away from this fantastic site near Looe.
We had 2 nights on what we think is the most beautiful campsite we have ever stayed on in the UK.
We had a super friendly welcome from Liz and Andy. The site is spotlessly clean with all the amenities you need.
The view is unlike any other we have seen on a campsite, it truly is a little piece of paradise.
The entrance to the site has a small side path which you can use to follow the south west coastal path all the way into Looe (with yet more breathtaking views).
If you are thinking of going to this please do, you will not be disappointed, and like us will find it hard to have to pull away.

Thank you Bay View Farm for a wonderful stay

This place is absolutely stunning. Liz is very lovely & welcoming - and she’s also very honest about the drive up being a bit tight (but to be honest it was absolutely fine, you just have to take your time) it’s so worth it though, the views and the atmosphere are amazing. Other reviews mention the shower block being dirty - it’s in a converted barn, so yes there are a couple of spiderwebs, but you are camping after all- you expect to be in nature, otherwise stay in a hotel.

Absolutely fantastic location and such a welcoming owner. She is genuinely the loveliest host you could get. She even offered to open her on site shop for us as we were a late arrival. The view is breath taking and the lawns are kept to the highest standard.

The only small niggle is the quality of the toilets. They were beginning to look a little tired and perhaps not the most welcoming toilet.

The showers were very clean though.

Would I return. A 100 percent yes. Highly recommend!

A true heaven on Earth. Absolutely amazing sea views. The camping pods are larger than anywhere else we have found. Excellent value for money. Each pod has an outside table and a bench and also a water point. The mattress is very comfortable and the views from the pod are breathtaking. | A true gem for an excellent price.

We came here on a last minute stay, the facilities could do with some renovations but did the job as we were only there for one night so used our motorhome. The view made up for this and there were even some ponies that my little one love seeing. The site was quiet as we came mid May so we had lots of space around us. Owner very friendly. WiFi being included was a great touch (again makes up for facilities not being new and warm)

Has to be my most favourite place to stay in the world, the views are stunning and the owner is so much fun! I booked a snug for the weekend and I was not disapointed, every snug has an outstanding view. I'd recommend staying in Looe Steps as there is no one in front of you. There's good wi-fi, large hot showers and if you turn right out of the campsite and walk down the hill there is a beach with a tidal pool called Millendreath Beach with a cafe/coffe shop and paddle board/kyak hire. If you turn left out of the campsite and walk down the road theres Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre. It's truely a hidden Gem and I can't wait to get back there in 2 weeks.
