I stayed here by myself on a Friday night having booked a room only a few days in advance via Booking.com. I thought the price I paid was quite reasonable. ||The hotel is very centrally located and easy to find. There isn't any parking according to the booking.com listing but it's very close to an array of public transport options and has several NCP car parking options nearby.||The reception / bar staff I encountered were all super friendly and helpful. The bar and 1st floor bar / lounge area are really nice. Very good decor, comfy seats, plenty of screens showing the football and even a free to use pool table, shuffleboard and darts board. A big negative was the drinks prices - extremely overpriced (nearly £8 for a regular bottle or Corona is excessive). ||The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was comfy and the room was very spacious. An iron + ironboard in each room would be a welcome upgrade. |The shower was excellent - very good water pressure and the rainfall shower was a nice touch. Complimentary bottle of water in the room. I think they need a door or shower curtain because the design of the bathroom meant half the bathroom floor ended up soaked when you use the shower. ||Overall, this was a good centrally located hotel and I would happily stay here again.

Adequate for a business trip. 15mins walk to the ICC.
Just stayed one night at this budget hotel, although at just under £150 it's hardly budget!! My room was very basic but clean and tidy. The bed was softer than I prefer, and I woke up with a stiff back. The carpet was covered in stains and needs replacing. There's no bath, but the shower was hot and powerful which is a big plus for me and prevented a 2*rating for the room.

Excellent location - right in the city centre. Ideal for the shops, bars, restaurants etc. Very clean and the staff are polite and friendly. Rooms are a good size. There's a slight issue with noise. I also couldn't get my tv to work but overall it was a good stay.

My ususal hotel was fully booked so this one is always a good back up. A short walk from Birmngham New St Station, its still handy for getting access to the city centre. Checkin was easy, the staff are freindly. My room was clean and smelt fresh, the food options was good and breakfast was perfect. A good sleep as usual and the stay provided good value for money.

My son stayed here for business reasons and was shockingly given another persons room and key|When he arrived at his room and opened the door with the card key he quickly realised that someone ( a female ) was already staying there |Luckily the lady was not in the room and he immediately left |He was horrified and very angry at being put into such an awful situation |Hotel reception weren’t particularly bothered or apologetic just used the excuse that the hotel was full and mistakes happen !!!|He was given another room that was obviously not ready for guests |It was dirty , marks everywhere, ripped off skirting board , dirty table , broken light fitting and towel and bed linen were not clean|No other room available!!! |He checked out and went to another hotel 15 minutes away |His business will not use this chain again

Paid for the room for Saturday night to sleep, yet I didn’t get one wink due to drunk people attempting to get into my room thinking it was theirs all night, people cherry knocking and running down the corridors, then disturbed by a very angry woman shouting and screaming at someone in the room opposite, to the point where the police had to be called. Made a complaint Sunday morning and was told the manager would contact me on Monday, haven’t heard anything and every time I try to call their number it rings once and cuts off. I’m well and truly disgusted by how this was handled when I spent a lot of money to stay there. Not their fault the people causing issues but it is when it comes to how they dealt with it I’m disgusted.

Hotel was clean & tidy, which is always a bonus when a 3rd party books it for you - check in on arrival was excellent, speedy & efficient but wouldn’t want to arrive at night with bar staff doubling as receptionists and queues were often 10m to check in.||Room was well appointed albeit some strange wall decor that I’ve not come across before.||Bar was busy at points, I noted prices were a cause for concern, absolutely no need to be charging in excess of £6 for a can of lager or bottle of Sol, you do yourselves no favours here.||Breakfast was absolutely top notch - a really good spread of hot & cold food, especially liked the artisan breads on offer.||Overall, a good steady 8.5 / 10
