Ordered at 18:25-ish for a collection time of 19:15, on arrival staff didn't notice me due to being on their phones and mucking around, once I had been noticed person on the till seemed confused why I was there when I said I am here for collection it was 19:20 when they said "it will be 10-15 mins... cook called out the order (so not even made by this point) and I sat and waited listening to the microwaves whirling so from arriving to receiving my order this took a further 20 mins in that time chefs were talking about my order asking "are they there then?" There were 2 other tickets on the reel and silent phone with delivery drivers also sat in the restaurant on their phones, so quite clearly not a very busy night at all and with all the issues I encountered I would have expected them to be run off their feet and not coping with how busy it was but apparently a couple orders is enough to make them produce poor quality meals.

I drove the 5 minute journey home and opened the boxes, now I have never seen such poor quality food and never in my life have I said that a mac n cheese was bad until now. The food was lukewarm at best.
too much salt on the chips. mac n cheese that tasted of nothing with a really terrible bbq sauce. the chilli on the chilli cheese chips was extremely dry literally no sauce, no cheese sauce either. Hot dog had a stale bun and not thoroughly cooked. Porky burger was also terrible I thought maybe I could save by scraping out the pork but sadly not.
100% all just come out of a can and nuked to death.
Shame really as I had really high hopes for something different in our area and when I saw one of my favourite iteams on the menu I jumped at the chance, all good reviews until a week or 2 ago so clearly we missed out on the enthusiasm.
After working in the takeaway/food service i understand that some nights can go rough so i would like to give the benefit of the doubt and I would implore management/owners to nip this in the bud quickly or you will soon find this place shutting down in its first few months.

Had to take some stars off the review and update review after a few disappointing experiences within the last year. Probably won't be ordering from here again as the last 2 times there hasn't been any gluten free buns which was the main reason I'd order from here. Instead of a refund for the burger, after we asked about it, we were offered free cans of fizzy drinks (doesn't quite make up for it!). The app said the order was ready for us to collect but when we got there the order hadn't even been started. We opted to collect as the last couple of times we've ordered the delivery took ages. so although the food is still ok it's generally been disappointing and to top it the prices have increased quite a lot. It's a shame when we used to love it here and recommend it to friends.

I don't know anywhere else that does a a greasy burger that is both gluten free and vegan - it was so delicious. I double checked that it was true! My husband got a beef burger and he also said it was great. Highly recommend, especially if you are vegan/vegetarian or gluten free and miss having a burger van style burger.

Good food, and would order again. I was sceptical when I saw reviews about delivery times but mine was delivered in 30 minutes what was amazing. Food was great and would definitely order again.

Have ordered takeaway from here a number of times. Past experiences have always been good however recently the place has gone downhill. Burger arrived soggy on the bottom and didn't taste as good as it usually does. Changed the recipe of the chicken wings, which is fine but would be helpful for this to be noted on the app. Hope you can restore back to your previous standards.

Ordered at 5.00pm on a Monday, delivery time was by 6.06. We called at 6.20 as it still hadn’t arrived. Eventually arrived 15 minutes later. Some of the food was warm, but some was missing. Called up, but they were not willing to deliver them, but said they would refund, they didn’t bother to do this.

Not sure I understand the latest 1-star reviews, but I'm glad we ordered from BBQ Boss. The food came in less than 20 minutes, and was piping hot. Both burgers were very tasty, and their chips was also amazing. Thanks guys!
