Beauty retreat is such a lovely place! The staff are beyond kind and always up for a chat. I go regularly now after having a bad experience with my first set of lashes (from another salon) - I would now never go anywhere else but beauty retreat! Amy’s lashes are one of a kind and make me feel amazing!

Amy always provides amazing customer service and amazing services. I cannot recommend both her and beauty retreat enough!

Had a pedicure ...wouldn't go back again .. nail polish was painted terribly and actually came off once I got home. My feet didn't feel any different. I had clay in all my toes ceases and needed to wash my feet when i got home... Anyway I paid £25 instead of £45 less because it was the girls' first day and they did offer to re paint the next day when I contacted them about it However, I didn't return and went somewhere else to have a pedicure. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I used to go regularly for a wax treatment with Chelsea but as soon as she went on maternity leave the great service I had previously received just disappeared. I booked for a wax as usual & on arriving at the salon was kept waiting for at least half an hour due to another appointment running over. At no point did any member of staff come & talk to me to explain what was going on or apologize for the long delay. I overheard staff talking & discussing swapping my treatment to another staff member which I did not want as I had previously been to her & been ignored & kept waiting. After waiting for about 40 minutes in the end with no-one still coming to me I told them I had to leave as I had a hair appointment in Hessle to get to. The only response I got was "oh if you're sure". I was very annoyed as I have very little free time outside of work for things like this & it was a total waste of time. I waited for days afterwards to receive an apology, the offer of another treatment or any contact whatsoever but I never heard anything back from anyone. It seems if you're not a favourite customer they don't care about you at all. I've never been back & never would after such appalling customer service

I use Beauty Retreat regularly but took my daughter for her first leg wax. She was very nervous but Kerry put her fully at ease. She explained everything along the way and kept checking she was ok. It really helped as she will absolutely return. Great service xx

Had my eyelash extensions done here for holiday, fell out after four days even having been catious of them. I had emailed to explain what had happened but no reply. The girls was very nice and not complaining about them it's just a shame that I paid that money for nothing.

Unfortunately, I had an awful experience at this salon. I had a full set of acrylics done and after 7 days all apart from one completely fell off. I called the salon to ask for a refund and was told the owner would be in contact with me in 2 days. After 5 days of not hearing, I called again to ask for a refund. The owner was extremely rude and insinuated that it was my fault the nails had fallen off and that I should have called sooner. After being shouted at down the phone and intimidated in such a manor by the owner she then proceeded to hang up on me. I would seriously recommend thinking twice about using this salon.

This place is the number one place for any treatment. I had waxing done today by kerry and have to say she is the most loveliest person. She made me feel so at ease and did an absolutely amazing job. So professional and best service ive had by far. A wonderful, cosy, welcoming salon.10 out of 10 all the way. Cant thankyou enough. Thankyou x kristie

Lashes and wax. Lashes started to fall out with 24 hours went back she put them.back in. Was falling out again before I even got in holiday.
Leg wax missed quite a bit had to shave once got home also while a way defeated the object
