Host A was there to greet us even though we arrived late into the evening. Lovely spacious family room, comfortable, clean and great location.

Parking is excellent, bed linen is clean. Dangerous lip to en-suite for those with mobility issues. Decor looking tired, had to forgo breakfast as access was in basement down steep stairs which I couldn’t manage. No other cars in car park - says it all.

It's probably not the hotel's fault but it's disgraceful that booking.com calls this a 4 star hotel. It is a mediocre very outdated B&B at best but when you book a 4 star hotel and get this it's actually verging on a trades description issue. If you are going to stay be aware:|There is no reception and no-one will greet you on arrival, departure nor any other time. |We were told via the entry doorphone that our room key was on a yellow post-it note with our name scribbled on left on a windowsill - seriously|The room provide NO bottled water, No information at all (you had to find the wifi password posted on the wall downstairs) no telephone in the room, only one pillow each with no spares available, a radiator that was not on all evening, no heating nor heated towel rails in the bathroom at all, the worst water pressure in the shower we've ever experienced, it literally dribbled.|One light plug wouldn't go all the way into the socket - unsafe|Traffic, train and plane noise well into the night plus noise from the room above us and all started again at 5am (not that either of us were able to sleep a wink).|The continental breakfast was completely help yourself which is fine but at the same time the whole place, including our bedroom upstairs, absolutely reeked of something spicy and pungent being cooked,|If we'd known it was bargain basement B&B we wouldn't have been so disappointed, not that we would ever book here again even though we have family who have recently moved to the area. Booking.com should be ashamed.

I would agree with Hazel D that this is more of a B&B than a hotel, as there is no reception. We found our arrival a little confusing: FYI you just ring the bell and wait to be let in. You are then issued with your key and told your room number. (Ours was a triple family room on the second floor.) ||However, we were pleased with our stay. The room was clean and warm with an extra plug in radiator if needed. it was spacious enough for three adults. The beds were comfortable and there was a hospitality tray and continental breakfast included - good value for the £135 pn we paid.||Please note that the Wi-Fi code is pinned up in the reception area, but there is no note of it in the room, so check it out before you climb the stairs! An information pack would be helpful including the aforementioned and times for breakfast, etc.

Very accommodating host. Booked 4 rooms for a wedding function close to the hotel proximity. We arrived early and asked if there was a room available to get dressed. The host not only found a room but even sorted out all room keys, so on return, we could all go to our individual rooms. Breakfast and parking are excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to family and friends.

In my time at the hotel I had great service from the management throughout my stay. Would definitely consider going back if I’m down in Bromley again. Rooms pretty spot on, Nice enough garden view and easy access 24/7.

How can this be a hotel without any facilities? On arrival no information about the hotel, given key to our room which was on first arrival ok then I noticed the carpet was horrible and a stain on the throw. Luke warm shower. I was told on booking the cost was B&B but it was not stated it was continental. In saying that the breakfast was nice with variety. The bed was clean and comfortable but the one pillow not great. We received milk on the first day of arrival but no other. Travelodge for me!

Was here a year ago , booked in by company , couldn’t quite put my finger on what was wrong with the place , from last time I stayed, AGAIN wasn’t soon that long before I remembered NO HOT WATER & NO HEATING & if you opt for the BREAKFAST that too is DIABOLICAL |WHEN SPEAKING TO THE MANAGER/OWNER , the RAT just laughing , same EXCUSE as last time whilst laughing at me , I don’t know what wrong with it |I’m not ENGINEER |YEAR AND A HALF LATER THE SANE PROBLEM EXISTS with THE SAME EXSCUSE
