Amazing experience from start to finish. Danny was extremely accommodating and a brilliant host. We stayed in one of the mews rooms, the room itself was lovely, very clean and extremely comfortable. Great night sleep, lots to do in the local area including lovely restaurants. Cocktails at the bar were incredible. Will definitely be returning here again!

we stayed for 2 nights in april 2025, were very happy with becketts. it's in a great position to access all southsea and old portsmouth have to offer. comfortable room, nice vibe in the bar, staff cool. breakfast a good start to the day. loads of street parking available very close. would happily return. we took our dog and it was very dog friendly

What a lovely place. Our room was calm and stylish, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast (available till 11am) was simple but tasty: croissants, fruit, cereal, yogurt and bacon or sausage in a toasted brioche bun- yum.|There’s a bar area hired out for private parties, but also a separate quiet bar with table service for residents and non-residents. Candles and a wood burning stove made the place very inviting. |We really enjoyed our stay.

Becketts is a lovely hotel with fantastic staff. The complimentary breakfast is great, with a continental spread plus sausage or bacon bap. Rooms have tea, coffee, biscuits, and water. The bar is charming. Certain bedrooms are very dog-friendly, providing a dog bed and water bowl. The only downside is the wet room shower, which soaks the entire bathroom, including the toilet and floor up to the door—not the best design. Parking is nearby, you must pay from 8 AM to 6 PM. Overall, an amazing stay with great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely return!

Very stylish small hotel in great location. Room was a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to park on street directly across from the hotel. We have stayed at other hotels in Portsmouth over the last 3 years and this was definitely the best. We have booked to stay twice more later in the year.

This is a beautiful located accomodation with great staff and lively vibes BUT what us that breakfast all about? Boil your own egg to out on your own toast could work if they hadn't run out of eggs and bread. The person on duty had been left high and dry and it was breakfast carnage bit otherwise very nice

I held my 30th birthday party at Becketts, and stayed there afterwards and I had a fantastic experience in the run up and on the night. The organisation and communication from Jodie was great to get it all booked in. On the day Danny & the team were fantastic with set up and ensuring there was never a wait at the bar. The function room is really great, the lights and tech down there make for such a great event and the photobooth is a lovely added touch. All my guests commented on what a gorgeous venue it was! |Our room was lovely and really gorgeously finished. |Overall we had a fantastic experience and I’m grateful to Becketts for being such fab hosts! Thank you

Cute little place in a great location. Staff were lovely too. My biggest gripe was the noise but not from the private function below which was fine. We could hear every footstep, sneeze and trip to the toilet of the people in the room above. The wet room bathroom doesn't work well either. You can't avoid flooding the whole space and making it incredibly slippery
